The food quality and service are not ideal, and the price is too high. I will not try it again!

Possible change of ownership and chef. The food was atrocious. Prawn fried noodles was diabolical. At that price, I expect better quality noodles than the cheap dried noodles minus the crispiness. Awful. The Dan Dan noodles was watery and tasteless. The ingredients did not complement each other. The ho fun looks good visually but a ton of salt was applied. Save your money go elsewhere.

I am extremely dissatisfied with my recent delivery from 113 Chinese Restaurant. I ordered the prawns, which were exorbitantly priced at £21.45, only to receive a paltry portion of five prawns. Furthermore, the amount of maggi sauce included was inadequate—not enough to even cover the prawns, let alone complement the rice. The pork dish was equally disappointing. It was dry, overcooked, and lacked any semblance of flavor. Additionally, the egg fried rice was bland and unremarkable. Given the high prices, I expected a much higher standard of quality. This experience was a complete letdown and a poor value for money. I will not be ordering from 113 Chinese Restaurant again and cannot recommend it to others

I'm so speechless about this store. I placed an order on an external software at 7pm, and after waiting for almost an hour, they canceled it and said it was closed? ? ? Is there something wrong? ? ? If it can't be done, can't it be canceled earlier? I have to make people wait for so long. Will the business be done in the end?

Food impeccable quality, highly recommend the beef brisket , manager is very friendly and always accommodating.

My friend and I had an amazing experience and time here!!! Food was fantastic. Quick and tasted fresh. The manager is very friendly and welcoming. We had lovely chats with him during our time here. Bad restaurant. The food is nothing different, there are other places with cheaper and tastier food. Not to mention treating employees by shouting. When a Drive went to pick up some food he treated him as if he were a non-existent being, I was ashamed of the way he spoke to the food driver!!!

The tofu and preserved meat in today’s seafood tofu hotpot are sour and spoiled, not fresh at all. This experience is very disappointing. The taste of the food used to be good, but this time it’s really disappointing.

Authentic Hong Kong food stalls/Tea Kee delicacies, the taste is authentic, the new skewers are moderately spicy, and the must-have milk tea and lemon tea in Hong Kong is highly recommended!

The wildness here is from Bristol. Gospel for foreign students. Singing karaoke. It’s wild and delicious. (Changed after 1 year) It costs extra to sing karaoke at Haonian Guiyi’s house. There are more choices for Chinese food.

Enjoyable Szechuan, which arrived by takeaway. Delicious Chongqing style chicken poppers, crispy pork, dry-fried French beans with minced pork, Ma-po tofu with minced pork and salt and pepper squid. With boiled rice, the six dishes came to £94.95.

Poor amount of food. Even a girl feel hungry after eating.

I always order the green beans with minced pork. Today the beans don’t look fresh and it obviously taste like it has been just heated again after it has been cooked. For the price I’m paying which is £12.95 I hope the beans would be freshly cooked.

I get different discounts or even no discount whenever I order exactly the same set meal at exactly the same period of time. Apparently, you should not confuse your customers with your charging rules. 😅

Really ashamed about staff’s attitude. We went for karaoke for several times. However, today when we are checking out, one of the staff member said we vomited in their toilet everywhere and they spent extra time to clean it. However, we had explained many times that we only drink a little bit of beer and no one had vomited. The staff member was talking in a very weird tone to criticise us saying they don’t have camera so they cannot checked out the truths. Very disappointing experiences today, really bad service as a restaurant with karaoke.

The Mapo tofu is used to be one of the my favorite dishes in this restaurant. But today i order the Mapo tofu from Uber eats. it's one of the worst i have ever eaten. The minced pork stinked, taste sooooooo disgusting! OMG, never order again.

Great Chinese food in a modern environment. Friendly staff

The waiter had a bad service attitude and was not trustworthy. He promised to contact me later and pretended to leave his contact information, but he didn't contact me after a month. I took the initiative to find him twice, but the result was the same. It was disgusting. Please don’t go there. Especially the second time the waiter was disgusting and his attitude was so bad that even a month later, I still feel sick just thinking about it.

The food here was nice. The problem is how the dining room is run. Ordering is all done via an app. Took 10 minutes for portion of spring rolls to arrive. Glass of wine arrived 5 minutes after. Took a few more minutes to get someone's attention to get some water. After nearly 40 minutes after the order was placed we had to ask if the rest of the order was on its way; egg fried rice, stir fried tofu with vegetables and sweet and sour chicken. It eventually came a few minutes later. This is the problem when there is service based on an app but no server checking on the tables to see if food is coming out or if diners need anything. The sad thing is the food was actually delicious but our order had seemed to have been forgotten until we queried it. Same with clearing the table. By the time I paid the bill not a single thing had been cleared during the entire meal.(See photos). Someone needs to be in charge of running the dining room. Otherwise just order takeout or give it a miss.

The quality has dropped a lot, it’s only getting worse every time I go. They have been cutting corners by using bad ingredients and decreasing portion sizes. The only good thing about their food is flavour, but nothing more. Ordered sweet and sour pork few days ago, the quality was appalling. It was made up of small pieces of fat or flour clumps, only 2-3 pieces were actual meat. But even the meat itself was stale. Not to mention the portion was tiny as well. Drinks were watered down and diluted . Service was really slow and unorganised. The food took half an hour to arrive.

We ordered several courses. After a long hungry wait, the main course, Malaysian chicken curry, didn’t actually arrive because they forgot it. This was quite frustrating, particularly because the restaurant wasn’t busy & the manager didn’t appear to be at all concerned. The bill was reduced by £3.50 off of £25 per person. I didn’t really want to argue, I just wanted to salvage our evening out elsewhere. I gave one star because on the wall, above the gents urinal it said “Have a nice piss” (True!)

Good solid Chinese restaurant serving authentic food. Wait times can be a little long, but overall this is a pretty safe bet as restaurants go.

Food was definitely nice but a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Unexpectedly good food. We visited this restaurant by a chance as it was pouring at Bristol at the time. The restaurant offers lunch deal from Monday to Friday. There are plenty of selection with beverages. Though we didn't try it, this restaurant also offers hotpot menu. The service was alright. They have high chair for children but don't have baby changing facilities. Moreover, they do not have accessible entrance. So, will not be able to serve wheelchair users.

Dan dan noodles Tasty but hit and miss. When doing tthis takeaway PLEASE start separating the noodles as they arrive a gooey overcooked mess after spending 15 minutes with the driver. I say hit and miss as the noodles are 80% of the dish. Mince is delicious but doesnt seem to be any consistency to the amount you get which could definitely be upped for a £10 bowl of mostly noodles and one half a pak choi Havent tried anything else as dishes are very expensive, would have tried more if more single/ couple friendly prices smaller dish for less money

Difficult to know what to think - I can see why some reviews are quite negative and also positive because the food is quite good. The hotpot was tasty, but quite expensive for what it is - the base is £15 but adding a couple of extra ingredients takes it to around £25 for 1 dish. The soup with Pak choi was good but standard, as was the tofu with prawns. Overall maybe too expensive. Wine was nice and good price. Service was ok, we managed to get food quickly, but after ordering they didn't bring the drinks straight away, but 15 minutes later with the food. Small detail.. Also constant stream of deliveroo riders made it feel like a train station.

Good quality, clean and efficient restaurant!

Food is nice but don't go at lunch time if you only have an hour slot for lunch. You'll be left to sit and freeze at your table as 137 uber eats drivers open and close the door to collect their deliveries whilst you wait in line. We were the only ones eating in and from the point of placing our order to getting our food was 52 minutes and one of the orders was wrong. We were treated to come complimentary tap water around the 30 minute mark. Our complaint and request for the food to be in a take away bag was met by mild indifference whilst they served the next uber eats driver.

The food portion and price are reasonable. It would be better if the price includes drinks. It feels perfect. The food tastes good, the pork rice with pickles and vegetables is fat or thin, both are average, good

Three kinds of roasted meat - 17￡ This is quite delicious. The roasted duck in the open oven is very generous, the honey-glazed barbecued pork is sweet, and the crispy roasted pork skin is very crispy. It is delicious when dipped in the sauce. Satay enoki mushroom, beef vermicelli claypot - 16.5￡ It smells stinky, but it doesn't taste stinky. It tastes okay. There is only a little fat beef and enoki mushrooms on the top, and all the vermicelli below. Fish-flavored eggplant stew - 14.5￡ Not delicious, no flavor at all Dry pot sausage - 17.5￡ It doesn’t taste good, it smells bad, and it’s not handled cleanly. Egg fried rice – 4￡ It’s 63 pounds in total. My sister thinks everything else tastes terrible except for the three pieces.

We've eaten here and had take away so many times. On this occasion the food was terrible, people who came after us got served before us, the rice tasted stale, it took an hour after we received our food for the starter to come. The peanut sauce was LITERALLY peanut butter in hot water stirred🤨🤨vile.... The staff had no clue about anything, although lovely.. We were told the chef is old that's why the food was taking so long 😑I did get 10% discount but £7 off a bill doesn't compensate for the lack of customer service and quality of food in a restaurant that is overpriced as it is. The ambience was nice. I think they've changed management a few times, everything about it was Poor... Which is really sad because I always liked it there. Won't be returning for awhile or until I forget how terrible it was.

The food was delicious and came in large portions - we had aubergines and minced pork & pak choi in supreme soup & boiled rice. It was quite busy but the staff were really helpful and polite. The place has a great vibe, plus the toilet was clean and the seating was comfy. Would definitely come again to try out other dishes on the menu, especially Laksa and dry hot pot!!

I order sliced beef with tomato sauce on rice.However, it seems to be tomato with fried eggs shell which is disgusting and ruins my lunch

Lovely accommodating staff, however, the price has hiked up roughly by 50% whilst the portions have decreased in size and substance e.g more sauce and rice with less ingredients

It wasn't too busy when we visited, two of us got seated. The service was lovely, and the food was authentic, however some of it was more pricey than anticipated. Is worth visiting, would recommend.

Never go there again. The most annoying thing is after ordering this dish, we waited for more than one hour... The boss is always happy for preparing the delivering , but ignore the people eating on site. Very frustrating. Also the price is ~1.5 times as that of other Chinese resteraunt in Bristol, but the taste is only just so so. For example, the Mapo Tofu is only spicy but not "Ma" (numb). As a Sichuan people, I can tell that some of the dishes in this restaurant is not always authentic; neither is the Twice cooked pork.

Have ordered from this place a few times and the food’s always great. Today, I accidentally messed up when ordering and called to try to fix it. While they couldn’t make the amendment I wanted, they were very apologetic and included a nice treat for us.

The food is great, and the environment is clean. The best Char Siu Pork I ever had in Bristol! They may be a bit busy with the delivery order, as we can see drivers are in and out the restaurant, but the staff are so nice and willing to help. 10/10 recommend.

Absolute scam. Waited 75 minutes for a disappointing broth that tasted like Instant noodles. For a price point this high the service here is criminal. Never again

Food is overpriced and underwhelming. Waited at lest an hour for food to be delivered and it came out cold.

We ordered a chicken dish and when asking did it have peanuts in the waiting on staff said no. We double check as it was due to an allergy, they said it’s got cashews in. When it arrived it clearly had peanuts in. This restaurant is clearly being effected by its takeout business. The staff were so busy but there were hardly anyone in the restaurant. Food and drinks took a very along time. The food itself was ok, and the environment was nice and spacious and clean. Due to the take out business though there was a lot of people coming in and out of the restaurant throughout our meal which did make it less enjoyable.

This is very high quality Chinese food - nothing like a cheap take-away. Nice interior décor, stylish and calm; very good service indeed. Quite a few customers were Chinese which is always a good sign for authenticity. Highly recommended.

Service was a little slow but they were very busy on a friday night with a full restaurant and deliveroo orders. Very tasty food and large portions. Good value for money.

Serves traditional and interesting Chinese dishes in a lively atmosphere. Our food had a deep and memorable flavour. Regrettably, our rice and main dishes were served separately and we had to remind staff of our presence on a few occasions. That said, the waiting staff were very apologetic.

I ordered braised beef soup noodle. I clarified with the waiter before ordering to check the soup is from the slow cooked beef. But the reality is rather disappointing. The beef has smell to it which changed the taste of soup. I asked the restaurant owner if the beef is fresh. She said it’s fresh as they sell a lot of soup noodle everyday. I’m not an expert to say otherwise but the beef definitely has a strange taste and I didn’t have any. The soup was destroyed by the smell of beef and covered in soy sauce. The traditional Chinese way of cooking beef is to soak beef in cold water for at least half an hour to drain excess blood from within the meat to get rid of the distinctive smell. This didn’t seem to be done. The restaurant owner did give me 20% discount to acknowledge my complain, which is why I rated 3 stars for customer service and would have been 2 stars if it were just for food only. The restaurant has extensive choices on the menu and look exciting but the soup noodle is definitely a no no.

Great variety of options. All food very tasty and nice portions. Staff very friendly and helpful with everything needed. It is a nice environment, to have a visit or more. I would definitely go back again. 5 people with individual dishes, shared dishes and drinks, avg £20pp. Go for it, it's a nice independent restaurant

The only place with proper Singapore Laksa in Bristol, miss it so much! Good price and the service is fast and friendly. Their lemon honey tea is also very tasty. The only downside is the layout of the shop, the ceiling lights are too long and low and they are really annoying as they were right by our heads when we were eating...

The food are not fresh and disgusting to eat up. Bad service manner and slow service rate as well. Save ur money for other good restaurants

Very pleasant experience! We didn't have reservation. The dinner was very tasty (squid tentacles slightly overseasoned but still nice) and the service couldn't be better, the staff was very kind, quick and helpful. There id a very long menu with a mixed of Chinese and Malaysian dishes. We ordered: deep fried squid tentacles, Malaysian chicken curry (my favourite, although there was more potato than chicken 😅), beef hot pot with crystal noodles and satay sauce, roti canai and egg rice: total £38.90. I'd definitely come back to this place

Great flavours, authentic Chinese food, good service. BUT- chefs are way too heavy handed with MSG and salt - especially in their wok fried noodles, mains, and fried rice Advice for management- please reduce salt content because we were all dying afterwards of dehydration and high blood pressure

After travelling in China we found it so difficult to find good Chinese food in the UK. This place has great authentic flavours and does proper Chinese food. The sauteed chicken with dried chilli is amazing and transported me right back to travelling China. Mapo Tofu is also a great choice!

The chicken with ginger and scallions was the worst I’ve ever had in my life: a box full of very large pieces of flavourless, hacked chicken (skin and bones included) with little/no sauce. Not sure how they are justifying their prices??? Terrible. The boiled rice was also undercooked and the chicken satay starter consisted of 3 small, and not particularly tasty, skewers. The reason why I have given it 2 stars and not 1 is because the chicken and sweetcorn soup was ok
