The best restaurants serving Turkish food in Tynemouth North Tyneside North East

Our first visit to Iztuzu. We only popped in for a quick coffee, but we quickly decided to stay for a light lunch & we weren't disappointed. Very friendly welcome. Attentive & efficient service throughout. The Turkish coffee was excellent. My wife had asked for a glass of water &, as an example of the level of service provided, two glasses of iced water with lemon wedges were served along with the coffee. The food was delicious. My wife's prawn dish was exceptionally good, complemented with some delicious Turkish flat breads. We felt obliged to share a baklava, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We'll look forward to returning to Iztuzu next time we get to Tynemouth.
