The best restaurants serving Thai food in Castle Carlisle North West

Always absolutely amazing food best place to eat in Carlisle only negative is that I finish work at 3 through the week and they are sold out by 2:30 with no surprise as their food is amazing. Return regularly for their yellow chicken!

I was very let down by our visit today, we have never tried this restaurant before so we were excited to try it. Unfortunately I am pregnant and had to leave early so I asked if we could take the rest of our food home, the waitress walked into the kitchen and let out a massive sigh, she seemed offended so we had to reassure her twice that the food was lovely but we couldn’t finish it. We were then given our food (curry and rice dishes) in sandwich bags. I could see the waitress bringing out takeaway bags for other customers and they were in plastic containers, so I am not sure why our food was put in bags. The food was very expensive for what it was, almost £19 for a red curry with rice.

What’s happened? We have been dining for over 10 years and today was awful. We waited over 40 minutes to be served. My soup looked like a diluted (see photo) curry, the noodles had veggies when we specifically asked for none and their excuse was that they were busy with telephone orders-any other tables were served before us! We won’t be returning and the staff were just damn right rude- such a shame :( chef was off on one and th e waitresses just didn’t understand. Guess they’ve got greedy now!
