The best restaurants serving Spanish food in Elmbridge South East

I was highly recommended to come to this restaurant. I was not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. The food was outstanding. The Gambas, the Patatas Bravas, the Croquetas, I could go on and on. I will definitely come back and will recommend this lovely family run restaurant.

I’ve been on the hunt for a great tapas spot, and El Mesón de los Hermanos did not disappoint. My husband and two friends joined me on Saturday evening, and from the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Our waitress, Lydia, was absolutely lovely and made the experience even more personal when we discovered she’s from Madeira — my beautiful island! The food was so delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavor. We ordered about 10 tapas between us, we were hungry! I highly recommend the pulpo (octopus), sardinhas (sardines), gambás (prawns), the aubergines, chorizo and the classic batatas bravas. But don’t stop there. Each dish felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared, hitting all the right notes for a true tapas experience. We ended the meal with dessert, which was the perfect sweet touch to round out the evening. However I did feel that the churros was lacking in taste as there wasn’t enough cinnamon sugar coating. But that would be my only observation. As the other desserts chosen were lovely, the creme brûlée. Alongside. the food, we enjoyed a wonderful medium-bodied red wine called Altun that paired beautifully with our meal. While it is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the genuinely warm, attentive service make it a good gem, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic tapas in an inviting atmosphere!

What a brilliant night! We went out for our work do for Christmas! The food was delicious and service great! The most important thing for me was the entertainment! It was amazing! It was Neil Diamond night and the atmosphere was so lovely! Everyone was dancing singing and have a fab time! Staff were very friendly and professional. I would definitely go again!
