The best restaurants serving Scottish food in Lowlands

Thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food. I had the salmon which was very well presented and piping hot in a tagine. The ambience was like sitting in someone's living room, cosy and homely. The staff were lovely and friendly. I can highly recommend this place.

Brilliant place to stay, staff are always friendly and helpful. Ideal location for exploring the Borders. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Well I guess I went in there to get a coffee and a sandwich and then went back for lunch it was average I was in the cafe 1st time on my own and then I went with a friend

Took my 12 year old grandson in for a bite to eat after playing a football match and driving back to Stranraer. The restaurant is lovely and the staff so helpful and polite. Food and service was wonderful,we said we would even drive there again for lunch.

Second visit here and equally good both times. Well-prepared food in generous portions, efficient but friendly service and good atmosphere. The tables are also well spaced, something I appreciate. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
