The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Ludgvan Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Don’t judge me for it but I’m not a fan of seafood, and I confess for the many, many years that we’ve driven past the Gurnards Head it’s (selfishly) put me off eating there because I assumed that it would be all about fish. My partner, conversely, is a big fish fan - so during this visit we gave it a go. I was wrong, and we’ll now be regular visitors whenever we’re in West Penwith. Plenty of choice for people like me, and plenty to delight a fish fan. The pub is rustic - in a very good way - and we visited just a couple of weeks before Christmas and the place was dressed nicely and had a proper festive feel. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and attended too, with a lovely table by a nice log fire. We both had choice and the staff explained the different dishes to us. They were served quickly, hot and were delicious. I think that the menu generally has 2 x fish, 2 x meat and 2 x veggie as mains. We will come again, it’s right up there with our favourite restaurants now!
