The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in St Leonard's Chesterfield East Midlands

Let me start with the positives, the staff, all very friendly and attentive they really were. Unfortunately for us that's where the positives ended, The decor too modern, how people bang on about a traditional style taverna I've no idea, far too crowded we were literally sat on top of the table next to us, I get they want to make money but it kills any idea if a romantic night out for two. Lastly and probably the most important, the ridiculously priced food (which in both mine and my wife's opinion was average) both dishes we ordered came with no sides no vegetables, rice, or even roast potatoes, my Stifado was just that in an earthware pot and at £26 it wasn't like it was cheap. My wife's meatballs we actually thought they'd sent out a starter portion, 4 meatballs sat on the smallest amount of rice with some tomato sauce, neither dishes could be forgiven by exquisite taste, because they just didn't have it. It's a shame as we love Greek food and we always go to one Sheffield on London Road, which is typical Greek, real Taverna atmosphere with mountains of food with the best taste. I'll not mention the name as I don't like to promote other restaurants in a review of another (if your interested you'll find it on Google). This will be our first and last visit for Odyssey.

delivery was 30 minutes late than worst case indication on just eat (30 minutes). When I rang to chase the person in the restaurant said the driver was on there way (35 minutes). Order eventually turned up (60 minutes). Pizzw barely warm and onion rings were soggy and cold.
