The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in East Neuk and Land Ward Fife Central Scotland

Previously it had more of a pub feel which the large bar still holds on to. Table tops are a bit more utilitarian but the menu suggests high designs which it doesn’t quite deliver. Large portion of tasty starters but over priced and slightly over cooked steak with fish and chips where the batter on one side was over and the other side slightly under.

I visited this shop with my husband and two children last month and I had only been in for a few minutes and I commented on a beautiful hairband for my daughter. Before I even picked it up or looked at the price the sales advisor shouted over “that’s very expensive”. I was horrified she said that and I just smiled and walked out of the shop with my family. I am Pakistani and was deeply offended as the sales advisor was nothing but polite and attentive with the white customers in the shop. I will never return to this shop again. I received nothing but respect and great customer services of all the other shops in the area.

Fresh food cafe / tajeaway side of deli’ is very poor. Asked about sausage sandwich and she went to fridge and out cane a tupperware box of cold grey pre cooked sausages. Urghhhh. Unbelievable. So I asked for a cheddar cheese sandwich and it looked like processed cheese slices. She put tiny bits of lettuce and tomato which had been wrapped in tiny bits of cling film. Urghh. I should have walked away. Go to Giddy gannet in St Monan and see how food is served.

Arrived in St Monans to discover this was only place to get a coffee. Located in an industrial estate was very disappointed & overpriced for a takeaway coffee/tea.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the Sunday night for D,B+B. Our room (captain Scott) was really nice, both the bedroom and bathroom were large, bed was really comfy and the view from the large bay window was amazing. All the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. The food for both our evening meal and breakfast was really tasty and decent size portions. Great wee hotel and highly recommended.
