An absolutely gem of a pub. Clean and cosy with a great atmosphere - really friendly staff and a nice selection of drinks.

Very enjoyable freshly made wrap and a decent cup of fresh ground coffee. Perhaps introduce a selection of cakes to accompany the coffee ?? Photo is of my wife’s wrap

Great little pub, Good Band on Saturday night, friendly professional landlord called Steve who keeps a good clean house.. Very Reasonable prices, fast barstaff and a friendly place with a good vibe.. This place is an independent pub saved by Steve from closure. I support the place by visiting regularly even though I don't live locally.. 👍

Every visit here is excellent. The service is second to none. The menu is not extensive but is adaptable and the food is always of the highest quality. The coffee is excellent and prices are remarkable. I don't understand why it is not busier especially as the atmosphere is suitably chilled.

I ordered here through deliveroo, ordered a T-bone steak for £18.95, wasnt expecting much but when it arrived it was one of the best steak i ever had. Steak had amazing flavor seasoned perfect. Healthy portion size. The meat was cooked perfect medium rare as i asked over the phone, and it was tender and not chewy at all. Came with a side of fries , salad , roast potato , caramelised onions and mushrooms. Will order again 100%.

I've been visiting the Ale Hub for over a year now as a close friend lives nearby and we always tend to drop in after a few drinks in the city/Diglis. I've never been that keen on little Micropubs, as most I've been to tend to be lacking character and very basic spaces, however the Ale Hub has a certain charm and has been fitted out with taste, it's cosy and actually feels like a real pub. The customers are always friendly and there's a good hum of conversation. I'm not an ale drinker but they have a great choice of lager, draught craft and cider, as well as some guest bag in box ciders, the Rhubarb one is lovely. The staff are always really friendly and laidback, and seem to remember you, even though I'm there every once in a while. Bonus - pickled eggs, and some other homemade snacks like scotch eggs and pork pies. It would be lovely if they had some outside tables and chairs, but it has a busy car park outside so probably rules out. I would definitely recommend, they have very popular quiz, bingo and live music nights, one time I visited they even had a small record fayre which was cool.
