as a family we have been coming here for the last 40 years and seen the pub ebb and flow dependent on the owners. New owners have just come on board so went for supper hopeful of an upturn from the previous. Having been for lunch (somewhat overpriced for what it was) we went for supper where the food was first class. very welcoming staff who went out of their way to welcome us. If they could get the lunch menu right, then the sailors should return to it's glory days. Good luck to the new owners, we will be back to support.
