Car decided to have a wobbler on M62 so pulled off as demanded by on-board computer and found the Hornet Inn nearby. Parked car to await RAC and decided to go for lunch as wait was getting longer. Our server Sean couldn't have been more attentive and polite and we were absolutely delighted with him. We noticed he treated all his customers the same way. The meal was excellent value, Steak and Ale pies for the Grandparents, Roast Dinner for Daughter and Chicken and chips for 13 year old Grandaughter. What was a traumatic experience turned into a lovely enforced stop and after car sorted, we travelled safely back to York having never got to Liverpool to see our Grandson at uni! Thank you the Hornet and it's staff for giving us a memorable day out!
