The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Winsford Swanlow and Dene Cheshire West and Chester North West

Myself and my husband had a meal at the Royal Oak and not only was the meal in tiny portions, it was so over priced, they are trying to charge 5 star hotel prices in a little country pub. The land lady is very offish and the bar man just talks a load of rubbish to steer you away from the small portions. We have been coming to the Royal Oak for many years now and I can only say we will not be returning. Avoid this place at all costs. If I could rate this 0 stars I would.

Had a great Ribeye steak, very flavoursome, no gristle and cooked exactly as I had asked. The staff were very friendly and halfway through the meal asked if everything was ok. The toilets were very clean and didn’t smell at all. I cannot understand all the negative reviews for this place, it’s a Wetherspoons not the Ritz!! I would definitely recommend.
