I had high expectations for this restaurant based on several local recommendations, but unfortunately, it fell far short. We ordered the chateaubriand for two, expecting a beautifully cooked, melt-in-your-mouth experience. Instead, it was left to rest on a skillet over tealight candles, which continued cooking the meat well past medium-rare. Any chef who takes pride in their craft should insist that the waitstaff avoid this kind of treatment—it completely ruins the texture. What should have been tender and buttery was instead tough and chewy. Not worth the price paid. The service was equally underwhelming. The staff seemed disinterested, lacking both enthusiasm and warmth, making the entire dining experience feel unwelcoming. While I appreciate the attempt at French authenticity with the menu and signage (including “Toilet” written as “Toiletten”), the overall atmosphere and execution couldn’t have felt further from a true French dining experience. Disappointing from start to finish.
