Usually this chain is well managed and there is a consistent high standard of quality, service and cleanliness. Not sure what is happening at Holborn but lacking over past few weeks culminating with a very poor experience this week. Unfortunately for the team the computers were down, or at least the display screens, so I suspect they were under some pressure. The areas to collect napkins and cutlery was very dirty with piles of other people's leftovers on the side. There were so many staff serving behind the counter and all shouting over each other, which just added to the noise and lack of coordination. I also noticed that the person serving the soups likes to fill up pots and leave them above the counter which means you often get a less than hot soup if taking away and at worst barely warm. Surely the service is about the customer experience and not what is easy for the staff?

We popped into Chives quite late on in the morning but were pleased to be able to order a freshly cooked breakfast.

Es un lugar donde puede sentarse y relajarse, aunque en las comidas está ocupado. El servicio no es lento. ¡Tenga en cuenta que solo hay un inodoro de "emergencia"! Cuando llegué, la puerta estaba cerrada y un miembro del personal (un tipo con cabello oscuro y rizado) estaba mirando lejos de la puerta, limpiando los mostradores. Golpeó unas tres veces pero no pudo oír porque tenía airpods, golpeó más fuerte, y se dio la vuelta, irrumpió, abrió la puerta y metió mi orden en las manos, gritó "¡Disfruta!" en un tono horrible, luego cerró la puerta y cerró la puerta contra el mostrador tan fuerte que se podía oír desde fuera del café. Hice todo lo posible para mantenerme educado y simplemente dar las gracias cuando me lo dio, pero honestamente fue una experiencia horrible y me dejó sintiéndome horrible. (Al gerente, si tiene cámaras de seguridad en el taller, eche un vistazo a las imágenes de alrededor de las 7 : 05 a 7 : 15 pm el jueves 5 de diciembre y compruébelo usted mismo. Trabajo en un café que opera Too Good To Go y por eso aprecio que pueda ser un poco de trabajo extra prepararlos y dárselos a los clientes mientras cierras la tienda, pero como café, no uses TGTG si lo vas a hacer así. Un comportamiento tan vil sin ninguna buena razón. Sé que puedes tener malos días como trabajador, pero eso no es excusa para tratar a los clientes como basura. No trabajes en hostelería si vas a ser lo contrario de hospitalario.

had this booked months in advance and when I arrived the place was shut closed and boarded up! Happy to take the money and then leave paying customers out and not let them know whats been happening! Shocking place! Would not recommend at all unless you want to get scammed and your money taken away for no reason.

Healthy beautiful juices but at £8 ($16 AUD) each they're rather expensive! A good range of raw slices and healthy tidbits to take home too.

We stopped for a doughnut and a Tea. Wonderful treat. The space inside is very small but you would never know the desserts are all Vegan

The place is great. Good food, music and people. As you climb up the stairs to the cafe, you are greeted with warm scents coming from behind the counter. Also, they are very charitable with tea and hot chocolate (it is free). You can make a donation if you want. There is also a beautiful view of WAC arts from the massive window in the cafe

Intenté Bump and Grind y, aunque el café era débil e insípido, lo intenté por segunda vez en caso de que hubiera sido un mal día. Tristemente no. No voy a volver

Así que vine aquí por casualidad antes de ir al cine. Esperaba algo espectacular al entrar, un ambiente retro y fresco, una vieja consola de juegos para jugar mientras esperas y nombres geniales para las hamburguesas, etc. Pedí mi hamburguesa de pollo frito y estoy bastante seguro de que he tenido mejor en la casa de pollo. Muy fino poco de pollo con tocino de pavo y un poco de lechuga. Se había ido en 4 picaduras, y para 6. 50 Esperaba algo épico. Lo siento chicos, 2 estrellas de mi parte. No he intentado nada más allí, así que es poco injusto juzgar solo en el único sándwich. La cocina se veía muy limpia y también el chico detrás del mostrador estaba muy bien.

Better than the average cafe and their web site shows the dishes as they are.Would have given it 5stars but the juices and smoothies at £6.45 are on the high side
