If you haven’t tried this place then I seriously urge you to try it. I’ve been coming to Bandido’s since its launch, having tried a variety of foods from the menu I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. Don’t be put off with the ‘Mexican street food’ they cook to order with varying spice/heat levels. The Mrs only eats ‘mild’ and loves the place. Go check it out, thanks me later.

Really affordable lunch menu with a choice of main and soft drink for £8! Massive portions and very yummy food - definitely the money's worth. Service was also excellent - the waiter was very punctual and friendly!

Sorry but for the price I paid for delivery for a steak burrito with the dirty rice missing. I advise anyone looking to buy here to look at elsewhere. Awful

I recently visited El Mexicana Burrito Shop because they display a halal certification, which seemed reassuring for anyone looking for halal options. However, I was very disappointed to find that they keep pork products right next to the halal food items. This proximity raises serious concerns about cross-contamination, making it uncomfortable for anyone observing halal dietary requirements. Claiming to be halal while storing pork in the same area is misleading and shows a lack of respect for halal standards. This oversight can be deeply disappointing and even distressing for Muslim customers who trust the halal certification as a mark of assurance. If you’re looking for authentic halal options, I’d recommend being cautious about El Mexicana Burrito Shop’s setup and possibly avoiding it unless they take steps to handle pork separately and more carefully. It’s essential for places like this to take food safety and religious dietary needs seriously, so customers can dine with peace of mind.
