Bandido Burritos (uno) in Swindon

If you haven’t tried this place then I seriously urge you to try it. I’ve been coming to Bandido’s since its launch, having tried a variety of foods from the menu I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. Don’t be put off with the ‘Mexican street food’ they cook to order with varying spice/heat levels. The Mrs only eats ‘mild’ and loves the place. Go check it out, thanks me later.

I've been a few times, always great food and friendly service, definitely recommend. Upstairs on the bus is well done too!

Firstly I’d like to say the food was lovely! But I’ve come on here to make a complaint. Gregg is a very rude man! The “owner” Since I last been he seems to have got big headed. Also the price change since I’ve last been here is disgusting! Chips used to be £4.50 now £9 unbelievable. His burgers have also raised. What made me laugh about the burgers is the double up used to be £1 it’s now £2.05p not £2 but £2,05p lol he’s penny pinching like hell. Really overpriced. But the food is lovely. Can’t complaints about that. But I do believe he’s got a big head now!

We were visiting Swindon from Scotland for a wedding and found this place online. We ordered ahead but when we arrived to collect we were able to sit in on the top deck and eat them on the bus. Burrittos were excellent, friendly and laid back service and good value for money. Highly recommended !

Tasty food, and we MAY come back here again but there’s a few things that stop this being a 5/5 food joint but I’m sure the owner can make a few tweaks (and it’s all somewhat related). Definitely worth a visit and the menu selection is great and you can’t go massively wrong! We agree with some of the reviews that the food can be a bit bland at times, and some chilli sauce is a must. Which brings us to a topic that’s caused us confusion, the chill sauces have curry names for some reason and if you’re ordering online it’s not quite clear why (is this going to make my burrito taste like a curry?) or the heat intensity of each (maybe a chilli star on them would help?). Seems like an easy fix, but also disappointing when they have an associated cost so you might be tempted to skip. Worth noting the wait times, we have to plan our evening if we want to order here which has sometimes meant we’ve ended up going somewhere else (which hurts when you’re craving Bandidos!).

In the uncompromising, brutal environs of a tatty Swindon industrial estate dwells an incredible culinary giant. One that you should try today, well, maybe this evening as its already 15:23 as I type this. Wonderful food, served by friendly, smiling staff who greet you warmly the moment you step on the errrr.... double decker bus. Yes. A double decker bus. Words I never thought I'd say in 2024: "You've never had authentic, fantastic tasting Mexican food until it's served up in a double decker bus sat in the carpark of a Bookers Cash n' Carry" Myself and my two boys all feasted on burritos, which were very tasty, freshly cooked and very filling. All of this was washed down with Mexican soft drinks, whilst being serenaded sweetly by Mexican music which wafted aimably around the top deck. We'll deffo be coming back for more, the varied menu practically begs for a return, crammed full of teasing options, promising other delights. Well, that and the fact I've now got a loyalty card. :-) If you need a quick recharging snack at lunchtime, or fancy a proper sit down early evening meal with the family, this is definitely worth a visit.

We have just discovered Bandido Burritos in Swindon, WOW, we can't believe what we have been missing. An absolute gem. Food is fantastic and everything we had was delicious. We bought enough food for lunch and dinner, portions are great, and we have certainly not been disappointed. The staff are superb, super friendly, helpful and accommodating. They really have brought a little bit of Mexico to Swindon. Their food is certainly the best Mexican and Latin American food we have ever had in the UK, and that is coming from a Colombian living in the UK. Totally recommend a visit to Bandido Burritos in Swindon for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or whenever you are hungry. Andale andale.

Brilliant selection, great portions and absolutely love the bus! So much in the menu that it’s going to take a fair few visits to sample everything… but I like a challlenge😉

Found Bandido Burrito on Google looking for Mexican in Swindon, where there is little choice. But what a choice! This place is incredible, the food generally, but the Burritos and loaded fries, the sides and sauces are incredible. I went well before December and perhaps twice a month since because its so good, and I'd more and more if I could. The staff are friendly, their Bus is a very cool set up as well. For home deliveries they're usually faster than they estimate, always a nice surprise and I'm always looking forward to the next. Keep up the good work!

If you haven't been, you're missing out. It's that simple. We used to travel miles to get Burritos that were not a fraction as good. The sauces! Spices, the extras that go into my partners veggie burrito (crushed tortillas with cheese sauce, you're welcome 😁), everything made fresh to order and the bus itself.. With epic service.. Ridiculous attention to detail and a whole lot of love.. Are what sets this place apart from the rest. I have two food places in Swindon. Bandidos and Gurt wings. You'll never need or want to go elsewhere. And anyone suggesting otherwise.. Isn't your friend 😂

What a find! Friendly staff team amazing food and such a unique venue in a refurbished bus, never been anywhere like it in the UK! We had the steak burrito and chicken quesadilla and both were superb can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Absolutely amazing food! Myself and my daughter visited for lunch and ordered a beef burrito, tortino burger, hallumi fries topped with mouthwatering steak, chips that had Mexican seasoning and Mexican mayo. Spoilt with the freshness and incredible flavours. Service was quick and fantastic value. We were absolutely stuffed so didn't order churros which we've heard great things about. Decor is fab, very clean and staff so so welcoming. Highly recommend a visit

A little expensive for what it is. We got 2 lots of loaded fries and they were bland, had hardly any taste. Chicken and cheese burrito also was bland. Second time trying after a bad first experience but won’t be trying again

If you want fantastic authentic mexican food and a unique dining experience, I implore you to eat here! The staff are friendly, accommodating and down to earth, good people. My partner has recently had to gluten free due to health issues, so I contacted Bandidos to inquire about there options, they reply quickly and sorted us out. The food! The best burritos I've ever had and the Bandidos nachos are next level. Excellent value as it is a decent sized portion. You will leave full. They offer takeaway but if you have time I would recommend eating in, it is a little snug, but then it is also a double decker bus decked out in Mexican decor! Unfortunately this does make it difficult for disabled access but as stated above the staff are accommodating, they offer take away and its a freaking Mexican double decker bus!!!!! We drove a 2 hour round trip just for Bandidos, we even brought food back for the family and they all loved it! We would happily do it again and plan to. I hope they add tamales to the menu. 10/10
