The best restaurants serving Japanese food in Islington London

Food was great. Staff were amazing, the chef (mr.loverlover) was very funny. Latifah and Sahil always had smiles on their faces, very polite and attentive.

We were in the area and saw the restaurant, so went for dinner but were unfortunately disappointed. Ramen - very bad Wings - Tasty (but small portion - only 3 wings) Bao Bun - Very Good Asahi lager - not tasty at all

Ramen was delicious and service really friendly the only but is that this is airways freezing inside!!!! They should put the heating!!!

The staff was so nice to me and wonderful service like a five star hotel, chefs Cooked the food, so nice the way I want it Wonderful food is nice and where is Fie is in the way I want it I want to give great chef hundred percent marks and now we are under percent mate I wish everybody can come here on Friday night so quiet is my best restaurant in London I’ve been here nearly 10 times more than very nice to me and best service

Jiji successfully combines and modernises the best traditions of two cultures- Japanese and Mediterranean - to create an outstanding and distinctive cuisine. The food ranges from excuisite sushi to subtle tasty vegetable dishes (the cauliflower is an unlikely triumph). You could describe it as ‘fusion’, but so much lazy nonsense takes that label, and Jiji is on another level. The wines and cocktails are also superb. All of this happens in a modern Japanese take on an Art Deco dining room. (Don’t miss the monkeys in the loos - it’s all a bit White Lotus). On the basis of several visits, Jiji is hugely enjoyable and thoroughly recommended.

Fuimos a un grupo de amigos y ha habido un intervalo de 40 minutos desde la primera persona hasta la última. . Entonces, la única forma en que se ofrecen para dividir la cuenta fue por igual. . Cuando había una gran diferencia entre lo que ordenaba cada miembro de la mesa. . La calidad era decente pero la cantidad de algunos platos muy pequeños. . . I wouldn't normally bother leaving a review but I missed the opportunity on deliveroo and I'm really disappointed with my order. My salmon & tuna poke salad included almost none of the ingredients listed, no masago, sesame seaweed, pickled cabbage, spring onions or spinach and was literally a load of lettuce, some chopped tomato, cucumber and carrot with a few pieces of tuna thrown in. Fuming that I spent £8.99 on this, could've bought a whole lettuce, tomato, cucumber and carrot myself for much less.

This establishment appears to be closed. (of course, their website is still up & still takes reservations.. ) Check before you book.
