The best restaurants serving Italian food in Clifton Fylde North West

We've been here a few times previously and have always been happy with our food but not tonight. To be fair, the mains were fine (a pasta/prawn dish and the cannelloni) and my wine was lovely, but...the starters...what a let down. We had calamari (off the 'specials' section...sadly, anything but) and breaded mushrooms. The calamari was basically about 8 pieces of scratty looking, wafer thin, dry, possibly cooked from frozen calamari plonked on the plate with a pot of mayo and nothing else to distract from the unappealing sight. The mushrooms were a little better but not greatly so. In hindsight, we should have made a complaint at the time but I think we were so shocked that we said nothing...I do regret that, perhaps the staff might have made amends rather than me having my whinge afterwards on Tripadvisor. I doubt we'll be back anytime soon which is a shame.

Went for dinner. Lovley and cosy restaurant. Nice relaxed ambience. Nothing to much trouble. Food, service and value. Excellent.

Been here a couple of times and it has not disappointed at any level. The food and service are excellent. It is expensive but good of this quality isn’t cheap.

Had a bad experience here, food and service lovely but didn’t expect to be harassed by drunk patrons at 10.30am, the man in question was being served alcohol with no food and unsurprising started to kick off. There weren’t enough staff to deal with him so a fellow diner had to take charge and manage to persuade him to leave when upon he continued to rant and rave at us all from the pavement. I don’t know the law regarding alcohol service before midday but I didn’t expect it at this time of day and won’t go again despite the lovely position and food, the management are putting the staff at risk as no one came to assist the two female staff on site.

Amazing customer service, food tastes amazing. Definitely recommend!!!
