The best restaurants serving Italian food in Suffolk Coastal East of England

Good service, nice location, and whilst the arincini were good, the pasta main courses were very oily. Some dishes do produce more oil than others, but this was just too much. Shame because previous visits had been better.

On arrival for our pre booked table it was quiet but got busier throughout our meal. The decor and ambiance is nice but the food was ok , starters were nice but the mains were ok unfortunately. The wine was very good as was the excellent service .

We came across this place by accident whilst visiting the area. The staff are absolutely amazing - so friendly and welcoming. The food ( Ratatouille pizza, bruschetta and rocket salad) were great. Possibly the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. Thank you. You must go there!

After a hard week I was really looking forward to going out for dinner but when the person, an older man who is usually ok but must’ve been having an off day ! Just muttered to me from the start & Only bothers to take one step to find us a table when it was obviously not the best one of what was free, just muttering still when I asked for a different table away from the draught of the door & chucking the menus on each table & having the cheek to verbally ask if we were giving a tip at the end ! I know anyone can have an off day but if you do a front of house job, you have to hide it, I have a front of house job & his behaviour spoilt my experience! Other staff were pleasant

Great place great food my favourite Prezzo

Went with two young grandchildren having booked to take advantage of kids eat free. Shown to our table and all seemed well. The restaurant was filling up and reasonably busy for a Wednesday lunchtime but it took an age to get menus and then longer to order our meal. The food came relatively quickly and to be fair was very nice. Having eaten our main course we wanted to order a dessert and the waiter did not come to us. Had to Go and find him and it still took a ridiculous amount of time for the order to be taken. Again the food was ok but you can’t mess up ice cream. Having said that ours were vanilla ice cream with a splodge of whipped cream and three tinned strawberries. I spoke to the waiter, the only one showing people to tables, getting drinks, taking orders serving meals and clearing away. He stated that he was on his own due to staff sickness. However Prezzo, if you are going to offer free kids meals you must understand that kids are not patient when it comes to waiting for food so you need to plan better. This is the second time we have been here and the second time staff shortages have ruined the experience. We were in there two hours for a two course meal.
