Don’t want to do a self absorbed w@nky look at me I’m a food critic cos I’ve seen master chef review , so here goes . All the food we had was very good with amazing flavours and textures , as was the wine. The staff were friendly , knowledgeable and professional without being intrusive . The restaurant itself is comfortable and a nice place to be . Overall very impressed and have wanted to try it for some time. Ok it’s a bit pricey but it’s the kind of place you visit for a special occasion . Will visit again .

We came across this place by accident whilst visiting the area. The staff are absolutely amazing - so friendly and welcoming. The food ( Ratatouille pizza, bruschetta and rocket salad) were great. Possibly the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. Thank you. You must go there!

After a hard week I was really looking forward to going out for dinner but when the person, an older man who is usually ok but must’ve been having an off day ! Just muttered to me from the start & Only bothers to take one step to find us a table when it was obviously not the best one of what was free, just muttering still when I asked for a different table away from the draught of the door & chucking the menus on each table & having the cheek to verbally ask if we were giving a tip at the end ! I know anyone can have an off day but if you do a front of house job, you have to hide it, I have a front of house job & his behaviour spoilt my experience! Other staff were pleasant

We've been to this restaurant several times over the years, mainly because it's convenient and our kids love the menu. Having said this, we've had some pretty bleak visits and I don't quite know why we return. I guess it's the lure of happy children and the option of using tesco vouchers. This evening was a real shocker. On arrival, the manager told us there would be no pizza available because the recent delivery of dough had been frozen. No, I'm not joking. This was despite several people close to us having garlic bread and other bread-based entrees. We were sat at a high table because we were told there were no other tables available. We were therefore surprised to find a more or less empty top floor when popping to the toilets. The food was actually pretty good but the service was painfully slow and you don't want to keep trying to get hold of a waiter to a) clear your table b) remind them a course hasn't arrived or c) ask them for a dessert menu. Tables weren't being cleared until they had to be used for new customers. I assume they are vastly understaffed as this seems to always be the case. A shockingly low level of pride and hospitality. We had a clear view of the serving hatch and the poor chefs must have been getting angry, the time it was taking for servers to get food, which had been sat there for ages. To top it all, the restaurant was pretty cold - almost as cold as the atmosphere. If you are in any kind of a hurry, avoid this place at all costs. Likewise, if you want to be felt special or wanted. The only saving grace of this car crash experience was the very helpful and polite tattooed barman who helped us out after we made a complaint.
