The best restaurants serving Indian food in Leaderdale and Melrose Scottish Borders Lowlands

We eat Indian food everywhere we go, regularly cook it at home and we buy takeaways from different restaurants once a week. It is usually excellent. This place was the first really disappointing experience we’ve had in years. Ordered four main dishes which were all basically the same. Characterless, watery veg and really lacking in flavour, complexity and depth. Texture of each sauce was the same too. Pilau rice was just basmati stained with turmeric and the naan was flat and dense rather than fluffy and light. There is not competition for miles around but seriously… must try harder. Not at all recommended.

Been six times now. Food really tasty . Clean and efficient. Good service. Good atmosphere. Bright and light. Will continue to visit. Well done
