We thought there had been some misunderstand as we were aware of being unable to drink inside and so clarified with the lady, and she confirmed if we went to the pub for a drink first, we would then be unable to enter the establishment. I clarified again, I don’t personally drink alcohol but are you telling me I will be unable to enter if other members of this party had consumed? And she confirmed the staff were in full fast, and we would not be able to come back to eat if we visited a pub first. Totally bizarre situation, I asked if they breathalyse their customers and she confirmed not. The owner has replied to my family members review stating it is a lie, we would not make up such a random bizarre lie, and luckily we found a lovely restaurant nearby.
