The best restaurants serving Greek food in North East

Had a greek salad starter, pork gyros and sticky toffee pudding for a desert, All really nice, I think the portions have been uplifted as they used to be a bit too small, great spot and it's nice that you get real food at sensible prices. Really nice addition to lanchester and will continue to go back.

I ordered from Uber eats and didn’t receive 2/3 items of my order. I rang up and a young girl answered the phone, handed the phone to a guy that was there with a strong accent and said “I missed those two from the order”. The guy apologised profusely and offered a refund or a free meal if we visited inside. He even went the extra mile and hand delivered the missing items himself within 20 minutes. Very impressed with that! The food was lovely and very tasty, probably the best Greek food I’ve had in a long time! Would definitely visit again, I’d just avoid uber eats because they’re hopeless!

A great Greek takeaway! The food is flavorful, fresh, and served in generous portions. The gyros and souvlaki are delicious, and the service is quick and friendly. Perfect for a tasty and satisfying meal on the go!

Delicious Greek food - yum yum! We had a power cut last night near Skinningrove and so could not cook our prepared food for dinner. Hubby braved driving out looking for a take away and ended up in Guisborough as there was nowhere more local able to accept card payment (as he had no cash and all their card machines were also down) What a tasty surprise! The lamb and chicken kebabs, served with perfectly cooked fries (salad side and garlic mayo) were the best we’ve tasted from our surrounding villages. A great find and purely by chance - will definitely go for take away again from here.
