The best restaurants serving Greek food in East Hertfordshire East of England

Super fish platter, very good wine and lovely friendly atmosphere. A real old country pub traditional yet modern in that the cuisine offered is both English and Greek so is wide enough to suit many tastes. Many to feel very welcome and i summer a good place to visit after a long country walk nearby and there are many of them.

Just returned home after a lovely authentic Greek meal at the Village Taverna. Met the charismatic owner Tommy who welcomed us and were served by friendly and professional waitresses. The best Taramasalata ever!! I’ve eaten many as it’s my go to starter and this was the best. Great Salmon and Prawn main course dishes cooked on the charcoal barbecue - delicious. Nice atmosphere with Greek music in the background. Tommy and staff checked everything was okay and we were made to feel very welcome. We will be back very soon to sample some more fresh and delicious food. Keep up the great work.

All we can say is WOW. We went for a birthday meal. The roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious. Every part of the dinner was tasty and so well presented and loads of it. The staff were so lovely and friendly and all of them had big smiles on their faces. Would not hesitate to go back again and again.
