We call in at Skye’s as often as possible , as the food and services is always excellent Last night we tried the evening menu as they have recently purchased a Pizza Oven And we were not disappointed We had starters followed by A Hawaiian Rum soaked Pineapple.. and a Pizza Ortolana Accompanied by a few cocktails Anthony our Server was very professional and Friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for him We thought we’d challenge him on his cocktail making skills and thought we’d got him with the Long Island Iced Tea. But .. he came through :) he is a great asset to the restaurant We were not rushed it was a very relaxing enjoyable evening We will most definitely be returning and Highly Recommend anyone heading this way to try it out Thank you Jo and the Team for great food and a lovely evening x

We had a lovely meal at Paysanne with excellent service. It’s a small restaurant so do book ahead. Our favourite dish was the mushroom starter but everything was very good. We paid £50 per head (including tip) for 3 courses and a half litre carafe of wine. Will be coming back here

Dropped into Parisellas ice-cream parlour I had the Blueberry and honeycomb combo and my husband had the Mango and orange and raspberry ripple combo one of the best unique ice-creams we ever had since visiting North Wales a good treat after doing the Conwy Castle.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could as it was better than average (3/5) but not very good (4/5). Our starters (the asparagus and the lamb croquette) were ok. Both had eggs that tasted quite bland, and the asparagus portion size was very small. At a price of £8 and £10 respectively, we expected more. Our mains were much better, both the plaice and pea/mint risotto. Good portion sizes and good taste, couldn't fault these dishes. With the dessert, back to that feeling of disappointment we had when the starters arrived. The £8 lime glazed tart was ridiculously small, and the roasted banana ice-cream that came with it frankly tasted like a regular vanilla ice-cream. Overall, the entire meal was ok, but too expensive given the sizes of the starters and desserts.
