Very friendly staff food lovely. Would recommend. We had savoury pancakes also tried a new panini. Kids loved the sweet pancakes

Absolutely outstanding. We popped in for coffee and tried a Nutella crepe which my sister and I shared. Exceptional value, beautifully presented and tasted put of this world. Maria is a superb host and nothing was too much trouble.

Fantastic little place. Lovely service. Delicious authentic crepes. Really friendly with my 20 month old. This place is great and I almost don't want to tell you all as I'd like to keep it for myself! Went for an early lunch, ended up having more than planned because it was sooo tasty.

This is a family favourite of ours. The crepes are to die for, both savoury and sweet. The kids especially love the Nutella variety. Good choice on the menu, delicious coffee too and the staff couldn’t be friendlier.

Popped in for coffee late morning and really glad we did. Freshly ground coffee and freshly baked almond croissant were superb and service super friendly and efficient. We will definitely go back for both a savoury and sweet crepe when we are in need of something more substantial. Place is charming and full of french character, with fun elements like the Beryl Cook posters on the loo doors. Altogether utterly charming. Highly recommended

Having dessert at this wonderful place was a highlight of my holiday. The food was perfect and the decor made for a wonderful atmosphere. Very friendly French owner and the service was brilliant.

I was so pleased with the atmosphere and the service was really fast!! We only had drinks and the presentation was AMAZING!!!. I had a strawberry milkshake and my step-mum had a mocha and we both enjoyed it. Would recommend .

First time I've ever had a buckwheat pancake, I had la Mexican and mushrooms and brie, very tasty and surprisingly filling, drinks were hot and nice, the young girl that served us was nice but the lady cooking was constantly telling here what to do which we could hear, the food was great but felt like it was a bit of a show

Called in at the Deja Vu on a Tuesday lunchtime. Greeted by the lovely owner and great decor. My Son and I had a cheese, onion and ham crepe each with a cappuccino and a Americano coffee. The crepes were freshly cooked and delicious. The coffee was really good. The restaurant was spotless and so were the toilets. Interesting Botero plaques on the ladies and gents toilet doors! I will definitely return next time I’m in the area. Highly recommended.

I visited Deja Vu for the first time in October 2019, I haven’t visited before as it is predominantly a pancake house and I have a dairy allergy. So my intention was to just have a pot of tea. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, they found that I had dietary requirements. I had tea with soya milk and they made me vegan crêpes with strawberries which was lovely. The ambiance was pleasant, the cafe was roomy and the toilets were clean. I will return and my daughter will also return with her friends.

I went here with my parents and Partner as a treat. My parents have been many times before with their Grandchildren and couldn't wait to take us while we stayed with them in Wales. I looked at the menu and went into full panic as I realised me being lactose intolerant meant I couldn't have anything. However the Lady who owns it came to our table & I explained. She couldn't have been nicer or more patient. What a lovely lady she is. She made my food with soya milk. I had the Spanish savory dish and the Nutella crepe. Beautifully presented too. The owner really is a lovely person, though her staff seemed to be scared to death of her. But what chef do you know that doesn't have passion for the food they produce. I will be back and thank you.

I called into this establishment on the last day of my walk along Offa's Dyke from Chepstow looking for something to eat other than same old, same old, offerings of pies and burgers and was delighted to be introduced to the savoury galette. Friendly welcome from delightful staff. Had copious amounts of tea (in a pot - none of this teabag in a mug nonsense).A true gem in a five and dime store!

A nice little creperie/cafe in the town. Good selection of savoury and sweet pancakes, as well as a nice breakfast menu. Coffee is delicious. Lovely decor and a laid back atmosphere make it a great place to visit whether it’s just to grab a quick drink or indulge in a pancake or two.

Visited here for a post-lunchtime snack during a day trip to Prestatyn with family. Friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to a table. The menu was great with a range of both savoury and sweet crepes to choose from as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks. The atmosphere seemed very relaxed, with music played throughout the restaurant and free customer WiFi. I ordered the Nutella crepe with crushed Maltesers and ice cream and it was absolutely delicious! The food arrived freshly prepared and well presented; our orders did not all come out together, although this seemed to be due to only having one member of staff making the crepes. The manager came to check everything was ok and explained that she had sent some staff home as it was quiet, but it then got busy again, hence her doing all of the crepes herself and there being a slight delay with food coming out together. Overall I’d highly recommend Deja Vu and will be coming back to try out more of the menu the next time I’m visiting the area. Warm and friendly staff, delicious food, great service and very reasonably priced; definitely one to try!

Popped in for a cheeky lunch with the hubby while looking for a new mattress. We felt like something different and special and after a quick glance at the menu on the window, we knew we found the perfect spot! A lovely selection on savoury and sweet crepes, all made fresh to order! I had one with different types of cheese, tomatoes and onions - so yummy!

I've been here twice now and have really enjoyed both visits! Gorgeous pancakes, lovely service and the staff are happy for you to take as much time as you need to put your order in (I've been to some places that try to rush you and pull faces when you take a while to decide what you want). I also love the fact that there are gluten free options! I'm so glad that this restaurant has come to Prestatyn!❤️

This is the best pancakes place and also the milkshakes we had was incredible and yummy also the food was a great pancake was a treat for me.

Truly the best Pancakes I’ve ever tasted in my life!!! If your ever in Prestatyn then this place is well worth a visit, I normally go for the savoury crepes but today I had the caramel one and it was amazing!! Lovely atmosphere, staff are lovely too, I would highly recommend a trip to this place

Hadn't been in here before, loved the parquet floor and decor. We only had a coffee, which when it eventually came was very nice. We did have a bit of a wait! Would call again, although not if in a hurry.

Never been before yesterday despite living local, if your looking for something a bit different then this is it, a pleasant surprise it was .

Returned here with my partner his sister and her family back in August 2017 after me and my partner had been once before for a drink. Although we knew the place specialised in crepes we hadn’t realised the entire menu was crepes, sweet or savoury. We decided to stay and order crepes the food is lovely and something different and the place is nice as are the staff the only downside is is the wait for the food as it’s all cooked from fresh and each crepe takes a while I think only one at a time can be cooked which we were informed of and the place was very busy but it was a long wait especially when hungry but the food was nice.

Went here recently for lunch with son..hadn't been since it's taken new ownership ..as used to often under the old management who have now moved on ..

I have seen this restaurant many times in passing and never went in, yesterday we decided to pop in for a bite before the football, the decor is beautiful, the young lady working with the owner had good spirts, nothing was to much for her and she offered help in selection to every customer, the food was delicious, there is simply no fault for this small business in Prestatyn

Excellent on all counts - excellent wait staff, excellent decor, excellent food, well prepared and clean, faster than they promise. I had a sweet crepe; my wife had savoury, both were excellent in all regards. Make time and space for this one; you will enjoy.

Myself and my husband called in for lunch yesterday, it took 10 mins to get a menu 15 mins after that to receive pot of tea ( husbands cup was not clean ) after 40 mins of waiting we where informed that they had run out of chorizo which was a key ingredient of my husbands order . We decided to leave as we had had enough, couple next to us where given cream that was off , lot of bickering and disorganisation amongst staff , chef scratched her head and continued to prepare food , she didn’t wash her hands once although making and handling different ingredients. Won’t be back

We went during their advertised opening hours (which were confirmed by a sign in the window) but the place was closed. We were all disappointed as we had been looking forward to visiting and this was our only chance to go. It seems strange that they would close in the middle of the day during school holidays.

We visited today, 4 adults and 2 children. We also have a dog the lovely staff rearranged the table outside so my husband and I could eat outside with our dog while our parents and children sat inside. Nothing was too much trouble and they even came out with a drink for Mags (our dog). The kids loved their crepes and milkshakes and the pots of tea are huge with lovely china cups. We would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

The most amazing service by the most friendly employees. Had a wonderful experience and the pancakes we had were terrific as well as the very tasteful milkshakes and all for a very good value for money. The decor gave a very culturistic vibe and a lovely welcoming feel. Deja vu is a brilliant choice to go to with family and friends. Can't wait for our next visit. absolute 10/10! Well done. Oh dear affraid this was a dissapionting visit lost all class and standards we loved may be one to miss for a while .

On visiting here I found the food good but one young member of staff was talking across the counter to someone she knew and discussing her private life , I felt uncomfortable and felt that her boss needed to have words with her.

There is great service. Lovely restaurant inside and out well decorated. Pancakes are delicious. The pancakes look amazing on the plate.

Visited with a friend, my first visit for some months. Standards seem to have slipped a bit. The table cloth was filthy, the waitress replaced it with another that was almost as dirty. We were both looking forward to banana crepes but they had run out of bananas several hours before closing. The crepes we did have were lovely although served many minutes apart. The place is starting to look rather 'tired' and in need of a good freshen up.

We visited for brunch and were not disappointed!! Fantastic pancakes - large, fresh and very tasty! Everything is freshly prepared - so it isn’t fast, but it’s a place to relax in, to chat, share coffee and then enjoy your pancake. The pancakes may not arrive at the same time either - if any of these things aren’t an issue for you, I highly recommend the banana, Nutella and Malteaser pancake with ice cream, very filling! Delicious! We had five different pancakes between us, each different but equally tasty. Relaxed style, informal, French feeling cafe, roomy inside, very popular. Nice coffee and hot chocolate too. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Visited Deja Vu last year when in Prestatyn for a short break and enjoyed it, so returned today whilst on a Easter weekend break.

What can I say about Deja Vu except that it's an excellent all round pancake house !! Elaine and Pete deliver a friendly, comfortable experience from the minute you walk through the front door. Any stranger would feel immediately welcome and like you had been invited to join in a family gathering - such is the atmosphere. A fantastic choice of pancakes both sweet and savoury, French toast ( to die for especially with maple syrup) , cinnamon brioche and in the winter homemade French onion soup. Intimate tables for two or if asked they will accommodate larger parties. You may have to wait for your food but that is because it's cooked fresh as soon as your order is taken - well worth the wait. You can soak up the ambience and chat a while, read you paper or just people watch from the floor to ceiling Windows which take in the bustling high street. I would recommend this cafe to anyone - Bon appetite !!

Courteous service but relaxed (but they say that in their menu anyway). Nice vibe and decent toilets. Liked that there were old Readers' Digest magazines to browse while waiting. I had the strawberry and strawberry icecream crepe and a black coffee. A nice treat!

Me and my daughter always enjoy calling in to Deja Vu whenever we can. Sometimes it’s busy but if so then Pete will try his best and fit us in somewhere.

My husband and I pooped in today. The staff were really lovely and very helpful hen we couldn't decide what we wanted. The French toast looked amazing and the croissant was really lovely. The coffee was amazing and the hot chocolate was lovely.

A quick lunch, we had the crepe with mushrooms, spinach and brie, it was delicious and filling and very good value. Good service, highly recommended, and a nice change from the usual type of cafes in Prestatyn.

Deja Vu is a fabulous well decorated spot, with a very friendly staff. The food was delightful. I tried a savoury crepe and it was not only the best crepe that I ever had, but one of the best dishes that I have ever been served in a restaurant. My only regret is that, being on holiday, my schedule did not allow for a second visit to try a sweet crepe. I look forward to travelling back to Prestatyn and Deja Vu is definitely on my must go to list.

Great crepes, both savoury and sweet. Lovely atmosphere and staff so helpful. Watched as they welcomed and got a young mother,on her own with a baby and pram to a seat. Decaf tea and coffee too! Go there!

Decided to take my mother out and explore new unchartered sights and came across "Deja Vu Crepiere" What a fantastic treat lovely ambience and layout, extremely polite and friendly staff and the most mouth watering selection of crepes to treat the stomach to. Salivation was on order with a fine array of fruity and savory crepes to delight the palette. Staff were so nice to my mother and mde us have a friendly and relaxed afternoon of culinary indulgence and delight

I visited Deja Vu today with my wife. We aren't from the area and we are so pleased we stumbled across such a gem! We both had chocolate ice cream milkshakes and crepes. Delicious! Although I would never return to Prestatyn this cafe was the highlight of my trip there and I would recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth.

The food here is amazing. I have visited Deja Vu twice and on both visits, the food and service has been great ! It is a very popular place and its always busy when I walk past. Definitely worth a try if you like crepes

Quirky cafe that is bigger than you think. Friendly family run business that serves delicious crepes and savoury pancakes. Get there early for the fresh croissants. We had a mix of savoury and sweet, all excellent. Make sure you visit if in the area!

Visited here before returning home from parents caravan on nearby Haven site. Visited as been before and had a nice coffee and always wanted to return for food. Arrived and it was very busy. Told to have a walk round Prestatyn and return in 15mins. Returned and table was waiting. Got menus and ordered quickly. Adults in party ordered savoury crepes and we were told there would be a 20minute wait but we were ok with this as we knew everything was being made fresh. Time went on and after about 25 minutes the children's sweet crepes came out. Then about ten minutes later the first adult crepe came out, then the others came out shortly after. The last crepe came out about 35 minutes after ordering which wasn't a major problem because all was freshly cooked. We just wished the staff (man who served us seemed to be the owner) had been honest and told us it could be up to 35 to 40 minute wait.

Had lunch here today. Never had a savoury crepe before and was a little unsure. However this was by far the nicest lunch ever. Highly recommended by me give it a go you won't be disappointed.

We only called for coffee, it's lovely inside, cosy & comfy. The staff are nice & polite, the food looked nice & smelt gorgeous although we didn't eat thus time I will do next time we go.

If you're in Prestatyn you have to go to Deja Vu. If you're only driving past I'd say it's worth the detour. We bumped into it by accident on Sunday, around lunchtime. Interesting menu, mostly savoury and sweet crepes but we had the simplest menu, a drink and a croissant. And what a croissant! Baked on the premises that same morning. Delivered to the table on a wooden platter with butter and jam. We didn't expect that. Then the drinks. I had a cappuccino. Very good. My other half had hot white chocolate. Amazing! Not too sweet, a great taste. I'm having that next time. There will be a next time! Overall lovely tasteful décor. Nice, unobtrusive but present staff. Very good prices for what you get.

We ordered 3 lattes, 2 banana milkshakes, chocolate milkshake and two pancakes.

The people here are really nice, very welcoming and they serve amazing food! I had a Nutella crepe with vanilla ice-cream and crushed malteasers on top. It makes my mouth water every time I think about it!

Spotted this little gem today, and entered a lovely friendly tasteful cafe. The theme is fantastic, magazines and books to browse. We had coffees and freshly baked pastries. Yum yum and staff where so warm we will deffo return.

Absolutely love this place! I'm originally from Birmingham, my boyfriend lives at Haven down the road, and we used to come here every weekend! Lovely people that work there and the food is outstanding! My boyfriend has moved back now, but we miss this place, say we will come back to Wales soon just for another crepe!!

Visited the cafe today for tea and pancakes. The staff were very friendly, but the main waiter looked utterly harassed which was a little off putting. I think they must have been unusually busy!

We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Deja Vu last Sunday. We chose the savoury pancakes, probably the best we have ever tasted. There's such a variety of flavours, my hubby picked the mushroom and brie, I had the smoked salmon. Food beautifully presented and was surprisingly filling. The bill, including coffees was just £20 - great value for money. We will certainly return.

Lovely French style cafe, serving delicious freshly made pancakes. There is a choice of sweet or savoury and everything is cooked to order. This was my 2nd visit and there are a few more flavours on the menu I need to try!

Very good pancakes, and extremely welcoming staff. We had a mix of both savoury and sweet pancakes. My garlic mushroom and Brie was delicious and my partner very much enjoyed her peach and raspberry. A little hidden gem - will definitely be back!

Visited today, beautiful crepes, milkshakes and the coffee was first class in a lovely setting. The thing that sets this place apart is the super friendly and attentive service and the atmosphere that this creates. Would definitely recommend a visit, could of sat there all afternoon!

I took my family to Deja Vu for lunch on Easter Monday and we had a fabulous time. The food was genuine French gallettes and crepes, as good as any I have tasted during our holidays to France. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had three different gallettes; cheese, cheese & ham and seafood. Then to follow, two crepes; strawberry and cherry. They all tasted fantastic!!! We have a static caravan locally and will definitely be returning and recommending Deja Vu to all of our friends and family.

Came across this restaurant by chance as the one we had planned to visit was closed for Bank Holiday. What a piece of luck. The food was delicious, staff courteous and friendly and the decor pleasant. I can see that a lot of effort has gone into creating this creperie experience.

What a find... Airy, friendly, atmospheric. Crepes and gallettes a speciality, (cooked to order, so expect a short wait). We had gallettes {savoury crepes for the uninitiated) and they were as good as any we've had in France. Great coffee too, all at sensible prices. It felt like we were on holiday in France. All this place needs is a wandering accordion...!

lovely atmosphere and decor and the pancakes were simply wonderful,asimple fine, delicate lemon and sugar pancake was spot on and my partner enjoyed his savoury pancake of cheese and ham, the latte was lovely and beats Costas any day. We'll be back. Friendly staff too.

Always a warm welcome and a fabulous homely feel inside each and every time you visit. The pancakes are amazing with plenty of choice be it sweet or savoury.

We turned up as quite a large group (8 of us) and the cafe was very busy but they rearranged some tables for us so we could all sit together.

My partners family have a caravan on Preshaven and I generally stay with my partner a few times a year we stayed August with my partners sister and family. A few of us popped in here one drizzly day. Staff are nice, coffee shop itself lovely and hot chocolates are gorgeous!

If you want authentic French crepes, then this is the place to get them. If you don't want an item on your preferred crepe, then it can be left off or another alternative is offered. The coffee is the best ground in Prestatyn, the service is friendly and professional. I will be back, but only for a coffee as I'm on a diet.

We ate at Deja Vu as a group of 4. I presume the owner - a very pleasant gentleman - gave us a choice of seats and we decided to sit by the window. The table had just been vacated so was cleared very quickly for us to sit down. We hadn't realised that the menu consisted of crepes - but were not dismayed. 3 savoury and 1 sweet crepes were ordered and enjoyed immensely.

What a great place with a unique menu . Table service from lovely owners and staff. The décor is beautiful. The cooking is on view and I cannot rate it highly enough .

We have visited the bistro twice now and haven't been disappointed on both occasions.the menu is only small but delicious. We both had the savoury crêpes and wasn't disappointed. Fantastic location fantastic staff keep up the good work guys

My husbands had a major reconstructive operation on his leg recently and is quite depressed as he's missing his regular Saturday golf games. I dragged him out to deja vu which I said he must try as my friend and I had been previously and loved it. The staff were so helpful and caring, ensuring he got to a table safely (he's just started walking on crutches) and couldn't have been more friendly. What a nice touch to see your crepes being freshly made, and the taste was out of this world! My husband had sugar and cream, and I caramel - beautiful and filling, very reasonably priced. This is a lovely place to eat - beautifully decorated and very relaxed atmosphere. I hate being made to feel hurried when eating out, so I was delighted when we'd finished that our plates and cups were left alone until we made it clear we'd finished! We weren't rushed out, and I was in no rush to leave as was enjoying the ambience!

If you haven't visited here yet - you should. Lovely atmosphere - friendly staff - nothing is too much trouble and great crepes - I will definitely be back and will probably work my way through the whole menu - this place is going to be my guilty pleasure
