Sloppy ice cream bought 2 cones one mint chocolate chip one chocolate both were so sloppy they melted before I could get to the beach. Not the first time I thought the first time was just a one off Need to turn the temp down on the freezer. Nottised a lot of other people with all theirs dripping down everywhere What a waste of money Ge t the whippy its more solid that's if the machine is working!!!

Had a really great breakfast at Skyes. The waiting staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. The food was very good. We had a Welsh breakfast and a ham, cheese and egg galette.

We had a lovely meal at Paysanne with excellent service. It’s a small restaurant so do book ahead. Our favourite dish was the mushroom starter but everything was very good. We paid £50 per head (including tip) for 3 courses and a half litre carafe of wine. Will be coming back here

Called in on the spur of the moment whilst visiting Conwy with family. Lovely little cafe/restaurant with pleasant young waiting staff in modern surroundings. Kids chose a milkshake each and us adults had coffee and tea, I opted for an affogato … you will probably Google it as I did !! Cold black coffee with dollop of ice cream on top, 25 varieties to choose from … I chose salted caramel .. see pic .. yummy! £23 for 5 of us which I didn’t think was bad. Recommended to all and we’ll be back when next in the area.

I would give this a 3.5 if I could as it was better than average (3/5) but not very good (4/5). Our starters (the asparagus and the lamb croquette) were ok. Both had eggs that tasted quite bland, and the asparagus portion size was very small. At a price of £8 and £10 respectively, we expected more. Our mains were much better, both the plaice and pea/mint risotto. Good portion sizes and good taste, couldn't fault these dishes. With the dessert, back to that feeling of disappointment we had when the starters arrived. The £8 lime glazed tart was ridiculously small, and the roasted banana ice-cream that came with it frankly tasted like a regular vanilla ice-cream. Overall, the entire meal was ok, but too expensive given the sizes of the starters and desserts.
