The Lochnagar Indian Brasserie

Aboyne, Upper Deeside and Donside, Aberdeenshire, 20-30£
17/02/2019: Recommended by the lady who runs No 45 B&B; - decided to give it a go and was not disappointed - EXCELLENT food, service and atmosphere - if you like Indian food you will love this place
11/02/2019: We went here as a group of 6 and were welcomed by the manager who was extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. The menu is huge with your usual dishes but also regional dishes too. All the food was hot, tasty and we didn't leave much on our plates!! A complimentary drink at the end just completed a great evening.

Cafe Boheme

Torry / Ferryhill, Aberdeen City, 20-30£
17/12/2018: I had a lovely meal at Cafe Boheme. The Lobster Bisque was hot and very tasty - though the portion was rather small. I followed this with pan-fried Sea Bass which was lovely. All washed down with a glass of Sancerre.
10/12/2018: We went to Cafe Boheme with the two of us last Friday. It was our first nice night out in a while and we were not disappointed. Great meal (three of the four starters/mains came from the specials), great wine, lovely atmosphere and an excellent service. And that despite approaching the Christmas season. Remains Aberdeen’s top location.

Terroir Deli

Lower Deeside, Aberdeen City
02/11/2018: Had lunch with a friend today. Really fabulous homemade soup, salad and toasted panini. Great selection of lunch options. Coffee is up there with the best. Great service and relaxed atmosphere. Dogs are really welcome too! What’s not to like? Try it and support a privately owned business rather than a high street chain.
01/11/2018: Been eating here for a while now. Love the friendly service and choice of delicious authentic snacks. Certainly the best cafe in Aberdeen

Silver Darling

George St / Harbour, Aberdeen City, >100£
09/02/2019: First of all I’d like to say that I’ve heard nothing but good reviews of this restaurant and it is absolutely beautiful inside. Also in a great/romantic location ideal for couples to dine out.
05/02/2019: We had a great meal and this was our second visit and we weren’t disappointed. My sons girlfriend loved the Sole Goujons for her main course. The Cullen Skink for a starter was superb. Will be back later in the week as food is excellent.

Castle Fraser Restaurant

Westhill and District, Aberdeenshire, 30-45£
07/03/2019: I have been to this restaurant several times and have yet to be disappointed. The menu is simple yet there is something for everyone and the standard of the food is 5 star. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are very attentive. So no alcohol is served but you can take your own. They make this clear so nobody should be surprised. Ok they charge corkage but taking your own drink still works out far cheaper than buying high priced drinks at a normal restaurant. Overall, if you are looking for a consistent high end meal in idyllic surroundings then look no further.
24/02/2019: Food was excellent, but corkage charge of £3 per person left a sour note, I will think twice before booking again.

Torry / Ferryhill, Aberdeen City, 60-100£
13/06/2018: We visited here for my birthday the other weekend, and on first impressions I thought it looked a little dated.
25/04/2018: Found this place by chance and what a discovery! The service is first class, friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, so good that I couldn’t help but have a dessert. Brilliant meal and will definitely be back (I would have taken a picture of my steak but was too tasty to stop for a pic)

99 Bar & Kitchen

George St / Harbour, Aberdeen City, >100£
17/12/2018: Pleasant environment, decent music and good location BUT (and it's a big "but") I've been twice recently and both times the bar staff have been charging different amounts for identical rounds. Gonna be honest - didn't complain either time (as assumed we may have been undercharged the first time) but the second time it happened (the following week) we started becoming a bit suspicious. First week it was just by a couple of quid (enough to slip under the radar), second week around four...
12/12/2018: Nice genuine English Pub with good atmosphere. You can enjoy a beer or a good meal . Have also a atrium with space for approximately 20 persons

Keiller Brasserie

Aboyne, Upper Deeside and Donside, Aberdeenshire
19/03/2019: Lovely meal on the last night of our break. Lovely decor, friendly staff and beautiful dishes and table settings. Prawn cocktails were served in a 3 dish pyramid stack which was both decorative and delicious. Main and desserts were also delicious. Ended with really nice coffee. Great night to end our holiday.
27/02/2019: Would advise booking as it's not huge. Great food and very friendly staff. Itdoes have a few stairs to get in, however there is another entry via the main hotel.
