The best restaurants serving French food in Taplow South Bucks South East

This isnt a cheap place to go! But you know that before you arrive. Wife and I had the 7 course taster with wine paring. Mine (inc. seafood and meat) was terrific. But I didn't leave going "wow, this is the best ever". My wife (veggie) left a bit disappointed as she had 7 plates of various veg which seemed unimaginative compared to other taster menus we've enjoyed before. When you're spending £600 on dinner, you'd expect at least some kind of protein. That said, a terrific experience and the staff were fantastic

First time at Roux, I'm a local to the area. The service was exceptional! But food was mediocre- I ordered steak, cooked well but fries were very over cooked and dry. For cost it was okay. 4 stars because the lovely young staff were amazing!

We stayed in the magnificent Spring Cottage and had dinner in the hotel. The facilities were superb and the staff and service levels were second to none. Dinner was also a triumph. Really can’t fault any aspect of our stay at this stunning property and the team that make it so special.
