The best restaurants serving Default food in Rother Vale Rotherham Yorkshire and The Humber

I visit Thurcroft every week and make a point of calling at Mrs Brown’s Tea Room. Not only is a friendly welcome guaranteed but tea served in a china cup and saucer to boot! Let’s face it- THAT is how tea should be served. The food is freshly prepared to order and although I have not tried one, the afternoon tea looks amazing. While you are there you can also have a look around two shops full of vintage ‘finds’ - I rarely leave without a small purchase to brighten up my day, a word of advice though- if you see something you like buy it as it will be gone the next time you call! This is clearly a family concern that is run with love and care and well worth a visit.

Omg they had the best coffee and orange cake iv ever had also the coffee n orange cake was made by mistake, best mistaken cake ever, lovely staff lovely shabby chic looking tea room, other cakes and waffles, n icecream and loads more on menu too, we'll definitely be back, highly recommend give this tea room a try 😋 ❤️

Family run business, managed extremely efficiently, staff and premises always clean and tidy, fast friendly service, always pleasant to visit wether for just a wonderful coffee or a fantastic lunch, food is always freshly cooked and presented well

I am shocked with the mixed grill I ordered yesterday. They had used so much food colour that it left stains on my finger. On enquiring, the guy on the till laughed it off. I think this could cause a serious health issue if not resolved or looked into.

Food is always lovely, we have never had a bad takeaway from here. Staff and owners are friendly and efficient, food is always piping hot and portion sizes are good. Only place I will go to for a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend.

Ordered pizza, doner kebab and cheeses chips! So yummy! Delivery was on time and really helpful. Will definitely order again.

Was here for a long stay and ate here most nights, Good potions, chef would make different things on menu when needed as I am gluten free, A few nights it was closed but enough near by, Thankyou will return soon

Many thanks to all at The Rising Deer for helping us celebrate Dad's 90th Birthday. Special thanks to Caroline who took the booking and dealt with the various queries re food allergies and dietary needs before and on the day. All 20 of us were very happy with our meals, especially those that had Cod and Chips, and Steak Pie and Chips. There was a slight issue when we found there was no Lemon Meringue Pie, which is my sister's favourite, however she was very happy with the Black Forest Gateau and said it was probably the best she's ever had. Many thanks to all.

Possibly the worst Chinese food if you could call it that I’ve ever tried. All food was cold, the chicken tasted off, the sauce was watered down to the point of not having any taste, dry rice the list goes on. Had to throw it all away! Complete waste of money and time.

Gorgeous food, great price & service! The lamb sashlik was amazing! Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
