The best restaurants serving Default food in Halstock West Dorset South West

Great find whist out visiting friends Landlord and Lady great hosts opened the kitchen early to feed us great beer even better food Lovely locals also made us feel welcome Highly recommended will definitely be back

We had two nights in the area, went there for our dinner on the first night and liked it so much that we went again! It's a genuine one, well kept and full of character, the food is excellent, and landlady Sharon is an absolute star that made us feel very welcome and hosted s really well. Would happily go there yet again on our next visit to Dorset.

What a beautiful setting for a thoroughly enjoyable lunch. We had sirloin steak from the specials board. The steak was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments were really fresh. After looking round the museum for a few hours, we went back for tea and cream scones. The staff are very professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend!

Looks a little jaded from the outside but the rooms were very clean, modern and large. Dropped 1 star because the bar food was just okay and the drinks a little pricey.

Absolutely superb lunch, the quality of the food was on a par with Michelin starred meals we’ve had in the past. Seasonal and fresh produce Friendly and professional staff. Fabulous - thank you Summer Lodge.

A very welcoming team and environment in the heart of Evershot. Great service and very delicious and beautifully presented food.
