The best restaurants serving Default food in Windwhistle South Somerset South West

Came in for a birthday celebration. Tough times around here with the floods. We were so happy we can and help support local business. Thanks ever so much to all the staff involved.

Cafe and shop connected to Coombe Farm - off the main road near Crewkerne; lovely food, easy parking, nice folks. Very high quality organic produce and cooking, priced accordingly. The meat, as you might imagine, is spectacularly good. Great for a family lunch, tea and cake or a peaceful read.

Stayed in the bed and breakfast at the back and it was a completely lovely experience. Food was excellent, people as well.

We called in for a drink whilst out walking and found it to be a very good place. Nice little village, too. Good beers at a sensible price, a proper games room with a pool table, darts, and skittles. If we get in the area again, we would go again. Give it a go if you are visiting the area. I didn't rate the food as we didn't eat.

Best gammon that me and the missus has ever had. Nice buttery roasties and plenty of vegetable options. Plenty of seating and car parking spaces. Nice large outside area for summer time food and drink. Staff were friendly and reasonably priced food. Downside was that the carpets needed a really good clean, but I'm sure that this will be seen too in the not too distant future.
