The best restaurants serving Default food in West Polden Sedgemoor South West

A nice place, a bit out of the way but as pub food dining goes worth it. First time we went we steered clear of the mussels, country pub, but then heard they were really good. We went again but only to be told everything of the menu was there except mussels. Maybe third time lucky we'll definitely go again.

Quirky bar/restaurant with eclectic decor serving absolutely fantastic burgers. Welcoming friendly staff add to its appeal. They offer a good range of beers and stock their own cider. It's a little off the beaten track - so do check the route your sat-nav plots! Easy to reach from the Bath Road. I believe they do have music some weekends?

Avoid at all costs. Been here a few times before & was excellent. Obviously has new tennants who havent got a clue how to run a pub. Friday night was fish night and yet they only had white fish, which was grey and mushy & had a thick soggy batter.Was told it was cod, probably minnow given the size of the fish in the batter.Chips were soggy and were rubbery. This pub was dark,cold and empty on a friday night ,this should have rung alarm bells. Needless to say declined to pay the bill.,

What a fantastic little pub. Wonderful decor really well thought out. Garden also very impressive with pods, birds and ample seating. Sunday lunch was great choice of two. A very good lunch out and definitely going back.
