Called in for a nice evening playing cards, whilst the local pool team was practising. Fantastic range of local beers and the usual international ones to boot.

Visited recently with friends and family. Fantastic food, lovely friendly staff, great entertainment from the goats and donkeys! Limited parking, but they opened an overflow parking option in a field for us. Already planning our next visit.

Delicious roast. Fantastic quality food and very generous portion size. Very welcoming. Lots of space and lovely outdoor garden. Will be visiting again.

A beautiful pub! I had roast pork belly (which was the best I’ve ever tasted), my brother had roast chicken and my mother had sausages and potato (the potatoes are something I want to be able to replicate at home as they were amazing!) We sat outside in the beautiful garden, such a relaxed atmosphere, some lovely music in the background, could hear the birds, people chatting and the kids playing in the playground - such a rare find nowadays for a pub to have one. The staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. Definitely coming back and recommending to family and friends.

got food poisoning when i came and ate here do not recommend to anyone

The new landlords have absolutely turned this place around after only a couple of weeks and things can only get better. The menu is limited at the moment but all the food they serve is beautifully cooked and presented. The beer is well kept and the welcome from landlords and staff is outstanding. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic pub. So welcoming, all the staff are first class, smiles and personality all round. Super dog friendly. Fabulous food, awesome service in super comfortable surroundings. I went twice in a week for fun cosy suppers.

Now under new management and getting better by the day. This was a great meal with loads of smiles and cheery chat. Keep it coming, well done.

Really good quirky pub in Stourpaine. Excellent selection of dishes all cooked really well. Friendly staff and a great selection of drinks!
