DO NOT BOTHER!!!! 1.5 hour wait for a bacon sandwich is enough to test anybody’s patience. Refunded, walked out and had to change entire days plans. They were still taking orders at this point. Absolute joke Avoid Avoid avoid!!!

This place is a solid 10/10. The food is just fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful. I've been twice - once for a mother's day afternoon tea & once for the Friday evening pizza night - and have been so impressed both times. My husband is gluten free and the fact they homemade the gf pizza base was well impressive (usually places buy in the generic gf bases from the supermarket and charge a small fortune!) The team are so friendly and attentive that the whole experience has been so positive during both of my visits. I just need to get in and try breakfast next...! I highly recommend a visit.

What an absolute gem nestled in beautiful and tranquil countryside. We visited with our cockapoo for breakfast today. The food, venue and staff were wonderful. Sadly our pup didn’t go much on the doggy ice cream as he was far more interested in sampling our delicious bacon and sausages 🤣. We sat outside to eat in the sunshine all the while being entertained by the resident donkeys, goats, chickens and ducks ( bliss) We could have stayed all day. After breakfast we had a lovely walk along the many bridle paths on the dooorstep. The owners have clearly wanted to provide a first class service at the same time as keeping it as an integral part of the local village. Lots a seating inside and out. We are planning to book for one of the regular pizza nights. Think we are fast going to become regulars!

So glad I found this little gem to celebrate my mums birthday. We had afternoon tea and it was all beautiful, there was so much we needed to take doggy bags home! The staff from start to finish were very attentive asking us if we were enjoying our food and if we required more tea or sandwiches. The fact that it was in such a beautiful location was also an added bonus! Will be recommending to friends 😊

I was really looking forward to having breakfast here, so I drove twenty minutes to get there in time to sample their breakfast menu. The location is gorgeous, the setting lovely - I sat outside with chickens and goats in the field next to me, and the staff who greeted me were wonderful. I ordered something to eat and had a delicious coffee and orange juice and waited for my dish (avocado on toast with bacon and poached eggs.) to arrive. It didn't take long, but when it arrived I noticed it had quite a lot of balsamic vinegar all over the top. I tried to enjoy it, but the taste was so strong it obliterated everything else. I hate complaining, but it had made the meal, for me, inedible. I gently and kindly explained and the lovely staff member went to talk to someone. A few minutes later I hear someone say quite loudly as if they were really annoyed...'Where is she??' A woman (the owner) came out and I stood up to greet her and said hello. She then proceeded to tell me that the balsamic vinegar 'made' the meal and was what made it taste nice, and that in five years no one had ever complained. I was basically made to feel like a mad person for not agreeing that balsamic vinegar is the best thing ever. She angrily declared it was not her fault. She was rude and dismissive and I felt really upset. She reluctantly said she would cook it all from scratch again but it would be at least another half an hour, but by then I felt it was probably best to just go. She was pretty miffed that I dared ask for a refund, and walked off. It doesn't matter whether balsamic vinegar is the best thing ever or not, (I think it is an acquired taste, and a strong one at that, so not everyone is going to like it, despite what the owner thinks...) if it had been listed on the menu, I would have had a choice. But it wasn't. I didn't get breakfast, and I still feel upset to have been made to feel so terrible for something that wasn't my fault either. This place is lovely, and the quality of the ingredients is clearly good, and the staff are really lovely and helpful (they are a credit to the business) but the menu needs to be clearer, and if a customer dares to 'complain' the owner needs to listen to them rather than invalidating what they say and getting annoyed. Perhaps she was having a bad day, it happens. I wish them all the best and thanks for a lovely coffee, but I won't be back.

Our visit had its origin in a search for farm eggs. However, it developed into a lunch visit, and a successful shop. We were shown to a table in an outdoor marquee, which was quite busy with groups of what seemed to be local people who knew each other, and had their dogs with them. We chose halumi burger, and chips, and avocado on toast with extremely tasty streaky bacon and a poached egg. Both combinations much appreciated. Pleasant service, with a smile. In the shop, as well as the eggs, we bought some home made frozen lasagne, which we have since enjoyed. The shop carries a few ‘daily requirements’ as well as a range of local produce and some lovely fresh looking vegetables. In a field adjacent to the eating area there were some splendidly healthy looking hens, and some goats, of great interest to visiting children and dogs....

I called in whilst out cycling, for a coffee and cake. The coffee arrived very quickly but after about 15 minutes the cake hadn't so I thought it had been forgotten. No, they were merely very busy as they were dealing with a large breakfast order ahead of me. Fair enough, though why that would prevent an apple cake, and not a coffee, being provided promptly is a bit of a mystery. I got a somewhat begrudging apology for the delay but I think it would have made for a much happier customer if I had been warned about the delay when ordering. I wasn't in a particular hurry and it was a lovely day. Its all about managing customer expectations. On the plus side the apple cake when it finally arrived was superb and very reasonably priced too.

Altamente recomendado!! El personal es también muy amable :-) ¡gracias! Xx

My wife and I visited Home Farm recently and were delighted with the way the farm buildings had been converted to provide a pleasant, atmospheric venue. I was a weekly visitor to the farm very many years ago and I'm pleased to see that the family have managed to combine traditional farming with a tea room providing tasty meals, home-made pies, pasties and local produce, cordials and much more. We observed the quality of meals being prepared and bought several home-baked items, which were delicious. Friendly service and high quality food in a rural Dorset setting, what more could one ask for?

Lovely little shop and tea room on a farm. Stocking their own meats, local cheeses and PIES and PASTIES. We were first introduced to the pasties about an hour before we got to the shop, not knowing that this is where they make them. We had just eaten some but decided to have lunch as well, I know we are greedy. My partner had the ploughmans with ham which was massive and I had poached eggs on toast, very very nice. It was also nice of them to do some hot food because it was past their serving time for hot food. Service was excellent, nice atmosphere. The owner sliced up some of the ham for us to take away as there was none on the shelves, this is the best ham I have tasted for a long time. The cakes looked lovely but we gave them a miss.

We were on our way to Salisbury and just happened to notice a road sign for the Home Farm shop. It was 2 miles from the route we were on so as it was near to coffee time we thought "lets give it a try" after all we had been travelling for some hour and never saw another tea/coffee shop. What a little emporium, it stocks all sorts of goodies that you would expect from a well run farm shop. There are meats, sausages. cheeses, chutneys, biscuits, eggs, and a whole host of other products, that we had never seen or knew about. So on to coffee. The coffee/tea rooms are in two areas but we settled for the area inside the shop itself. Coffee and bacon sandwiches were ordered and were served with a happy smiling face which we gather was the daughter of the chutney making mother. Lovely all day menu with plenty of choice throughout the day. Be advised they close on Mondays. Our next visit will be soon. Go and see for yourself - you will not be disappointed.

Well worth a half day out - even a day if you then visit one of the many top quality pubs for a meal to make a well earned trip out after a hard week. Fed up of the dreadful supermarkets, food that has been warehouse stored for who knows how long, dull lighting and being cajoled into buying things that you do not want and waste with 2 for 1 deals without even considering the lack of nutritional value, this experience was like going back in time and left us feeling refreshed and energised. Also that our money for is well spent ethically. Greeted by a friendly Marlene the farmers wife and her team - we started with a very good quality coffee - then browsed at leisure through all the local produce and listened to Marlene giving us the background on each one, where they came from and how they were produced. Our shop cost a little more than the supermarket but gave us so much more in quality and felt a much healthier option. We so enjoyed our shopping trip, the children looked at hens and ducks too that we found that they had a cafe and tea room. We stayed for a beautiful home cooked lunch and when presented with the bill just could not belive the value for moeny - would not have found this in a supermarket cafe. Home Farm is definately on our weekly list of enjoyable treats and combines the task of shopping as well. The Bell Family.
