The best restaurants serving Default food in Lelant and Carbis Bay Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Customers should be aware that this restaurant is outrageously priced. We paid £60 to share one fish and chips & one glass of house white wine. Yes: that’s right…. We shared a meal for one person between two & still paid £60. There is also a service charge added. The bill was so high we thought there had been an error…. The price does not reflect the quality of the mediocre food: one is paying for (an admittedly) lovely view.

Can’t fault the location but the quality of food and high prices don’t match!! Ordered a pizza which tasted of nothing- very doughy and looked straight out of a freezer than freshly made. Toppings were non existent. Drinks- OMG - £20 for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and £7 for a pint of Korev!!!! Won’t be back!

We had lunch in The Orangery. My husbands fish and chips was very nice however I had the steak. I can honestly say it was the worse bit of steak I have ever been served in a restaurant. In hindsight I should have gone for the fish and chips can’t go wrong with that.

Was nice to be able to stop and have a light bite after visiting Carbis Bay beach for the afternoon. A bacon sandwich each, beer and an ice cream, with a seating and a stunning view, can't complain.
