We stopped here for 'quick' coffee, what a joke! I waited at the deserted food counter, along with another couple who were ahead of me, for about five minutes while the person who was presumably supposed to be taking orders faffed about in the Kitchen. We three were the only customers at the counter. When she did finally appear she was unable to deal with the other couples order without help for some else who she dutifully went off to find. She eventually reappeared with another member of staff in tow and they both huddled round the till trying to figure out the problem. When it was resolved the original server continued with the rest of the couples order while the other staff member looked straight through me and disappeared back into the Kitchen. As it was now getting on for ten minutes of waiting like a Lemon I decided to give up and go elsewhere. If this is an example of how they treat their customers I am not surprised the place was virtually empty at Lunchtime. So if you want my advice it would be go somewhere else!!

I visited here in two separate occasions, one with my sister-in-law and the daughter (age 13) this visit was primarily to do the pottery painting? I can thoroughly recommend this, brilliant activity if you’re into arts and craft. The second occasion was with my husband and my dog to visit the garden centre. This we find it to be a well equipped garden centre which is not overpriced. Some lovely ideas for gifts, outdoor clothing, garden furniture, plants and a pet shop. The Garden centre is dog friendly with a few areas around which does not allow dogs. There’s quite a lot to do at this location , especially if you have a YoungFamily, butterfly, soft play, petting zoo, pottery painting etcetera. There are two cafés at this location, one of them being dog friendly with a segregated area for dogs and the owners. The café is okay, not great. We ordered a sandwich, cheese scone and a pot of tea. The sandwich took 45 minutes to make, It was a nice sandwich although 45 minutes to wait for a sandwich was a bit of a joke. In summary: dog friendly garden centre, children activities, location easy to get to, free parking and a cafe. We will revisit.

The food wasn’t good, hard rolls on the burgers, advised this was the type of roll it is, but it wasn’t edible. Staff friendly enough but the toilets really let the place down, they really need a good clean. Shame as I know their food can be good.

Last weekend we placed an order. It took two and a half hours to arrive and when it is it was delivered it was dreadful, watery, cold and not what we had ordered. The delivery lady apologised on delivery to say they had “cocked everything up this evening “ We then received a message to say because of the issues the week before they would deliver a complimentary meal I ordered and was told an hour, after an hour an a half I called and was told it’s on its way … after one and three quarter hours it arrived. The food was cold and again not what we had ordered. We called back and was told to “reheat the food” !! From a food hygiene perspective re heated rice is really not recommended I fully appreciate that businesses get busy but please close when you can’t provide a good service
