The best restaurants serving Default food in Surrey Heath South East

“Just picked up a takeaway with my dad, and we both agree this is the best chip shop in town! The lads working there were excellent – super friendly and efficient. The portions were incredibly generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. The chips were perfectly crispy, and the fish was fresh and flaky. It’s clear they really care about their food and service. This place is a local gem – we’ll definitely be back!

We have visited Roots on a regular basis since we moved to Horsell three and a half years ago. We have always had excellent food and service, so we were sorry to discover that they are closing due to a huge increase in rates. We shall miss our visits and the delicious food.

I put in search cafe nearby , this was the nearest , and whilst the food ( cheese and onion panini was lovely and good vfm , it wasn’t what I really wanted , omelette or JP and other things a cafe always offered weren’t available . Had a couple of tables outside , but two lovely ladies serving and very clean so yes I would return for another panini

Stopped off on the way back from town for a snack and coffee having seen this relatively new place but always just driven past. It was a sunny day, so we placed our order and sat in the small decked area outside. Let’s start with the good news; the coffee was good. It’s from a machine, so that’s probably why. We ordered a sausage & egg baguette and a sausage sandwich. If I’m honest, the limp looking, thin sliced loaf used to make the sandwich was most likely from the Co-op across the road. These days when you go to a cafe with the word “sandwich” in the name, you’d expect a decent effort there. For an average baguette, a terrible sandwich and two machine made coffees, we think £15 is a bit pricey, but excluding the cost, the quality just isn’t there in this place. Tried it once, that’s enough. And we haven’t even mentioned the watered down ketchup! There are some much better options in the surrounding area. Club secretary +1 - GW.

This is a genuine, family run restaurant. It’s our family’s favourite, the one we return to again and again. Because they change the menu occasionally it’s never lacking in choice. Food to die for and great service. It’s amazing although totally unassuming from the outside. Please try it. You will be seriously impressed. I shouldn’t be telling you this because I want to keep this gorgeous place all to myself!

I had Jacks fish & Chips withdrawal symptoms, so drove from Slough to Bagshot and when I got there, couldn’t find it - it closed afew years back! Damn!

Absolutely love this place! The sushi is always fresh, and the staff are super friendly. I usually grab a salmon nigiri and spicy tuna roll—both are top-notch. Great little gem on Frimley High Street. Highly recommend if you’re craving quality sushi!

Absolutely gutted that this place is going to turn into another gastro pub and the current landlord and his family are leaving. Mark and his team have been fantastic, a true asset to the community. The pub has always had a fabulous family vibe with low cost food and drink. Such a massive loss to our community. On their last day, Mark and the team worked their socks off as the village came together to celebrate his birthday. End of an era.

We had a wonderful meal at Miller and Carter in Bagshot! It was for our 9 year anniversary and we came on a Monday and was lovely and quiet. Ovi was our server and was super friendly and helpful and made our visit very pleasant!

Food was very bland. No flavour. thrown most of it away. Disappointed. Will not use again.
