The best atmosphere ever. The welcome supplied by Mary and Kerry is something I have never experienced in a pub before. They create a fun and friendly culture that makes anyone that is lucky enough to find this gem feel welcome. They care about their customers as friends and if I’m honest the worst thing about the Fountain is that it is often difficult to leave 😂. And I haven’t mentioned Scampi, Bungle and Bertie-May the cats 🐈 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 🤗 Don’t hesitate give the Fountain a go…

My son booked a table for 6. 4 adult ,2 children, a week b4 mother's day. We arrived 15 mins early, asked to go in other bar as the table was still occupied, 45 mins later we asked if table was ready, they were cleaning it a third time by now it was 4.30. They didn't know what was going on , another table of 8 people had been waiting 2 hours and still not been served. We spoke again to the bar staff. Said we we're leaving, she replied ,we'll get a table as soon as we can. What and wait 2 hrs for our food that hadn't even been ordered.. I've never given a bad review b4, but honestly it ruined my day.. They need bar staff, that know what their doing. As for the cook, over 2 hrs for the other table? And still no sign of a starter.. ridiculous!!!

Took my mum for Mother’s Day . Even though very busy the staff were excellent. I’ve been before and will go again . The food is nice and coffee good!

Very friendly service with good food. The waiter, Callum, was extremely polite making sure we have everything we need. Food seemed fresh and tasty.

I had the beef short rib, my mum had the steak flatbread. Were both fans of the unlimited salad. Fantastic service from Kathy, food was excellent. Really liked the refurbishment.

Just had a late lunch in the restaurant. Great service and cosy, food was ok.
