The best restaurants serving Default food in Western Parishes Stockton-on-Tees North East

Was lucky to stumble across this place a few years ago and was thankfully in the area once again. No place like it and no chef like Mr R. Made to order food and an opinion on any subject matter is fully included at any point of your visit 😀

Absolutely terrible. Sol has retired back to Italy,now it's just like any other mediocre takeaway. The fish are small fillets not the fresh qaulity that hangs out the box either end..

I had high hopes for this place after reading reviews. Veggie parmo is really disgusting. I was told it was Quorn but I have been eating Quorn for 15+ years, if it is it really doesn't taste like it. It's nothing like Central Parks which is much tastier and you are able to taste it is infact Quorn. The salad includes lambs lettuce only, with no onion, tomato, cucumber etc. When mentioned to the waiter it was poor she said it was to save people with allergies pulling the salad apart! Have you ever heard such rubbish! My mams burger also came with no pickles, even though she double checked with waiter. Chips were barely warm. Not good enough. There was only another 2 tables in at the time. We had the drinks removed from the bill. Way over priced and food nowhere near the standard it should be. Will not be returning. Disappointing.

Brilliant parmo, and the owner was spot on as well. She was more than willing to stop for a chat.

Had a Crispy chicken burger and fries and my sister had a parmesan. She only got a half parmesan and still couldn’t finish it. Portions are perfect. Lovely staff and environment. Absolutely adore the winter wonderland outside and in. Will be back shortly😄

Was looking forward to this as a few people had had a positive experience here and said that the food was good. We booked a table for 6.30 pm and thought that something was wrong when people were being served food after they had arrived after us. Initially things seemed to go OK, we were offered drinks and a waitress took our order. The drinks arrived and then my partner wanted another drink so we ordered another one.........this one never came and my partner went to the the bar to enquire as to where the drink was. They had forgotten the drink. The evening passed and eventually a waitress came with an implausible story as to why the food was late....it was obvious at this point that the initial food order had not gone through to the kitchen. Eventually at about 2000, some 90 minutes after we ordered, the food finally arrived. The food itself was OK, typical pub grub, nothing too extraordinary. We finished our food and asked for the bill and make sure that there was no tip on the bill. We went to the bar to pay and the cashier asked if everything was OK, I said no and explained what went wrong, she said would I like to see the manager and said no thank you. To be honest we just wanted to get out of there. I wish we had read the reviews before we booked here. Maybe this was just a one off, but reading the reviews i think there is a pattern here. Very poor customer service and no one was interested in us at all. A senior member of staff stated that our waitress was new and only 16, which begs the question of staff training....is there any?
