The best restaurants serving Default food in Greatham Hartlepool North East

Went here today for a group meal to celebrate an 80th Birthday. We were all delighted with a meal we couldn't fault. We had a choice of 4 roasts - beef, pork, chicken or lamb, and every one was a large portion of perfectly cooked meat (l've never had a roast better). There was Yorkshire pudding, roast potato, new potatoes, cauliflower, green beans, peas and carrots served in separate dishes, accompanied with a big gravy boat. Deserts were fresh fruit salad with ice cream and cream, if wanted, cheesecake, apple pie and custard and chocolate gateau, followed by teas and coffees. We have been here before and all the meals have been equally as good. A lovely occasion.

Didn't have any food but, the lady behind the bar really knew what she was doing.

Came in for a Sunday dinner, as we heard good things about them and from the moment we stepped through the door we were welcomed by the lovely staff. We waited a little as our table was getting sorted as they were really busy. When we arrived there was 2 big parties in and only a handful of tables available. Luckily we booked ours couple of days in advance, after we sat down and we where greeted by a friendly waitress who took our drinks and food order, which drinks where severed promptly, the food was amazing, I've been before for a Sunday lunch but it was miles better. The meat was so succulent and not chewy so it went down so easy we ordered the leg of lamb, pork and a child's beef and the portion sizes where decent, we also ordered a side of pigs and blankets and cauliflower cheese. It was just so delicious, we really enjoyed it thanks to the chefs at bluebells we will definitely be back

Definitely go back dinner spot on

This place was great before but now with new management it’s changed! The decor has changed (very stylish) and the menu has been updated (favourites still there). We went last night (a party of 26) and couldn’t fault anything. The waiting team were lead by a great waitress who couldn’t do enough for you and piping hot delicious food was delivered in good time. The food was of the highest quality and no one was disappointed. Would highly recommend this place ❤️

Had a lovely Sunday dinner, everything tasted gorgeous. There were 6 of us and between us had the pork, beef, lamb and turkey everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. The only thing I could fault was the cauliflower and brocoli a little hard for my liking but that's just me.
