The best restaurants serving Default food in Hundon St Edmundsbury East of England

We were staying as an extended family near here and went in one evening. This is just the sort of excellent authentic, unpretentious village pub you don't seem to see so much these days. Landlord was super friendly, recommending beers and chatting about he keeps them. Chatted to friendly locals too. Good atmosphere. We all had food which was exactly as expected: good sized portions, straightforward, tasty. Lots of variety on the menu. Pub is dog friendly too. Please visit if you are in the area. hi all a group of us visited the lion tonight on our motorcycles, what a nice pub, i think its under new ownership, the beer was spot on a nice beer garden and ample parking, thank you, a very nice evening,

really nice food - lovely on a nice day - cant comment on the rooms as was only there for lunch
