The best restaurants serving Default food in Bicknacre and East and West Hanningfield Chelmsford East of England

Tried Abanico on Saturday night and so pleased we gave it a go. The care given to the preparation and quality of the ingredients was obvious throughout. Delicious authentic Spanish courses along with all the necessary instructions to simply reheat in the Oven. We also loved the Spanish themed Spotify playlist, thank you and keep cooking!

We booked a table Saturday lunchtime to celebrate our son's engagement. We have been a few times in the past and enjoyed each visit. Therefore, we decided to bring our future daughter-in-law and her parents for luch at this special place. Once again we were not disappointed the food and the service were excellent. Looking forward to our next vist very soon.

26/4/25 We came for lunch, it was excellent (as usual). Cannot find fault with anything at Vita Bella, always exceptional food and service. 28/3/25. Yet another visit to the best restaurant in Essex. The food, drinks, staff and atmosphere are always excellent. 14/2/25. Four of us came to the Valentine's Lunch, it was excellent. We are regular visitors to Vita Bella, we've never had a disappointing meal. This must be the best restaurant in Essex. 12/12/2024 Four of us came for a Festive Lunch. Two who had never eaten here before, said their meals were excellent. I think I've said everything there is to say about this excellent restaurant. Don't take my word for it, visit Vita Bella, you won't be disappointed. 7/12/24. Eight of us came for lunch (again) Everything was 5* (as usual) Our favourite restaurant. We had a great time from start to finish. There is an extensive food and wine menu. The food was very nicely presented, tasty and hot. The staff are very professional, attentive (but not over powering) friendly and polite. All the staff made a very special occasion, perfect. Recommended

Excellent Sunday dinner and fantastic pub

Driven past this pub for years just never stopped off. Just left after couple pints in the garden. Landlady lovely, garden same and going back for the 80’s weekend in May.

Food very good but expensive,£ 8 for a sandwich.Waited a long time for the order to arrive.The ladies serving were efficient. However,it's not nice to see the staff eating chips and drinking behind the counter.I work in the food service industry,we have to have our drinks out of sight,in the kitchen area,which is as it should be.

We visited today we were greeted by the owner who was very welcoming ,the food was delicious lovely fresh vegetables ,dessert was yummy thankyou

Booked a table for our family and friends for dinner last night and really glad we did: the pub was packed! And no wonder, the meal was superb. They have changed up the menu, keeping the traditional old favourites but adding in some interesting new dishes. I had the falafel which was delicious. The rest of our party had burgers and chicken goujons. Everyone agreed that the food was fantastic. Sam and the team were brilliant, as always. So happy this is our local.

If you want to visit I suggest you find out when Rosie will not be there, she has trouble getting staff so that may be difficult. They don'y do food so ignore comments on food

Best roast around, friendly service and proper home cooked food, quantity and quality really good - highly recommended
