The best restaurants serving Chinese food in West Lothian Edinburgh and Lothian

Just ordered a 2 meals from a taste of china in Broxburn and one of the meals was disgusting. That meal was the so called special fried with a portion of curry sauce. When the meal arrived it had a disgusting BBQ sauce poured all over it. I called them back and asked why this was on it but not on the product description on the menu( I ordered a curry sauce to pour over it) They said it was the way they made it. I asked for a replacement dish. A curry as my faith in the original fish was gone. This seemed a reasonable request. 10 mins later I received a call saying they would only replace the dish with the same minus the sauce. Even asked if I could drive to the takeaway to pick it up. Stay away tasteless, clueless and poor customer service.

first time ordering, got the munchy box & was mega disappointed. £16 for a box of chips basically & a few pieces of meat.

Totally disgusted Asked what I could eat without MSG - firstly the person serving said they didn’t know - when I asked if she could ask she said there was a language barrier!!!!!! Actually while it’s not a big deal for me this could be serious for someone with a life threatening allergy. Then to make matters worse the conversation was discussed with a delivery driver TUT. Won’t be back

Took my ten year old for noodles her favourite food and they were average not good or bad but they have gone cashless and wouldn't take her money (she likes to use her pocket money)

Special chow mein had a really awful processed taste. Possibly from the - what I presume to be tinned - water chestnuts. Meat was over cooked and generally just not enjoyable. Chicken chow mein was nice. Wontons were well filled but very small. Disheartening overall but would try something different next time!
