The best restaurants serving Chinese food in Holy Trinity Guildford South East

We travel a 40 mile round trip to visit the Mandarin. When it comes to Chinese cuisine we won’t go anywhere else. If you can remember back when a night at a Chinese was a real treat, then you will love the Mandarin. It may not be an Ivy Asia inside but it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s all about the food and the lovely hospitality. Traditional, reliable and consistently great. You’ll notice the difference when you order prawns on toast, it’s actually chunks of prawns not mince and the fillet steak Chinese style, well it’s actually fillet steak! But there’s so much more on the menu, enjoy but don’t tell anyone else!

Worst Chinese I have ever had … special fried rice was stodgy and no flavour, black bean with chicken … I have no idea what the meat was but it was slimey. Prawn toast burnt and no flavour… expensive and disgusting!
