Absolutely brilliant. I booked for a hen party. We did the cocktail master class with Igli. What a laugh! We all loved it. Highly recommended. I would definitely do it again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stopped off here after a walk around the woodland. Lovely clean and friendly cafe. We were invited to take our dogs into the cafe. Nice amount of space between tables and chairs for our 2 hounds to lay down. We ordered a pot of welsh tea, coffee and two scones with jam, butter and clotted cream. Scones were delicious, proper home made and beautifully fresh. Staff were lovely. Would recommend a visit. Plenty of parking space.

We went in just wanting to grab something small for lunch and shelter from the rain, but we weren't expecting the food to be this good. The decor was lovely, amazing views over the bay, and the girl serving was very friendly and helpful. We ordered two hot chocolates (to help us warm up), a halloumi and caramelised onion toastie, and a portion of chips. The chips were just standard fries, nothing too special, but the toastie was amazing. The hot chocolates were lovely with a huge amount of whipped cream (and two marshmallows hiding underneath). Overall it was a lovely jem, and I'm sure it would get very busy if the weather was better!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Slice in Swansea last night! The restaurant itself is tiny and charming — the building is shaped like a slice of cake, which must be where they got their name. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the chefs downstairs in the kitchen, who kindly took my jacket before we headed upstairs to the intimate dining area. The seating is small and cosy, with just one server managing the entire room, but she was absolutely brilliant — incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, just as you’d expect in fine dining. We opted for the six-course tasting menu, which began with a beautiful assortment of warm breads paired with two deliciously flavoured butters, followed by a mouthwatering amuse bouche. For starters, my partner and I chose a different dish each — scallop and lamb neck — and shared them. Both were bursting with flavour and beautifully presented, with perfect pairings on the plate. The mains were equally outstanding: cod and langoustine, pork presented four ways, and then a steak fillet with an oxtail and onion tart. Every dish was cooked to perfection and packed with flavour. Dessert was a true highlight — a very stylish and delicious trifle followed by an unforgettable banana soufflé with popcorn ice cream. The soufflé was so light and packed with banana flavour, while the popcorn ice cream took me straight back to childhood with its nostalgic, rich taste. Slice may look like a no-frills, family-run restaurant, but it absolutely surprises you with the decadence and finesse of its plates. It’s already on the Michelin Guide, and I truly believe it could earn a star — although I hope they never lose the cosy charm that makes them so special. A small note to anyone dining at Slice: their card machine currently doesn’t allow you to add a tip, so do bring cash if you’d like to tip (and trust me, you will!). When leaving, the chefs again came out to thank us and say goodbye — a lovely, personal touch to end a perfect evening. We can’t wait to return often, especially with their exciting new menu changes every seven weeks!

Went for the Chinese buffet on Friday 2nd Feb, what a treat! Even with a short staffed team the service was wonderful, you can see how the students are building their confidence and skills in both the kitchen and front of house. Food was tasty, excellent value at £7.50 for 2 courses and overall had a really lovely lunch. Will be back 😄
