The best restaurants serving British food in Shawbirch Telford and Wrekin West Midlands

Long waits, short staff, on table people had finished the meal before the last person got theirs.

Rang to check we could walk in and was told they'd got a party of 50 so it would be busy if I didn't mind that. We went down to be told "sorry they weren't accepting walk ins"!!! I said I'd rang up and they'd told me yes ok so we were then seated in a half empty pub!!! Server asked what we wanted to drink then went off to serve others without giving us our glasses. Had to fetch chef to serve our food myself after we'd queued for a while as se server said she was busy serving customers at the bar. Food wasn't good at all today, my roast beef was nothing but fat so couldn't eat it and my veg was that dried up it was hard. I had to shout into the kitchen again as there was no gravy for us. All in all I ate my potatoes which were just mediocre. I know you can refill your drink but I still think its expensive at £4 per glass because nobody usually has more than two glasses!! Anyway, a disappointment today overall so pull your finger out Toby!!!
