Review of The Oxon Priory, Shrewsbury We were at a bit of a loose end one evening and decided to opt for a casual dinner out, avoiding anything too expensive or overly fancy. The Oxon Priory turned out to be the perfect choice. The menu offered classic pub grub, and everything was well-presented with hearty, comforting options. The service was excellent — our waiter, Brodie, was particularly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It was clear the staff take pride in providing a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, which added to the overall positive experience. Though this was a spur-of-the-moment decision, we were impressed enough that we’ll definitely be returning for more enjoyable pub dining in the future.
