The best restaurants serving British food in Madeley Newcastle-under-Lyme West Midlands

Surprise family Sunday lunch to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday. Everything was just as we hoped it would. Wonderful food, lovely atmosphere, friendly efficient service but not in any way intrusive, fresh flowers on the table. It was the perfect place - as relaxed and comfortable as being at home, but no one had to cook or wash up!

Lovely Sunday lunch as always. Beef was delicious and tender. Kids eat free on a Sunday which was a bonus!

10 Family members arrived for a "birthday" evening meal. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. The table service was a little slow,but there were 10 of us and the restaurant and pub quite busy. Definitely becoming one of our favourite places to eat.
