The best restaurants serving British food in Eggwood South Somerset South West

Visited for a weekday lunch and will definitely be going back soon! Service was fantastic, we were looked after by a very funny and friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent, probably the best pie I’ve had for a long time and everyone else in our party said similar about their meals. Good beers too, and a lovely atmosphere.

The food was very mixed - chicken dish good, roast beef very underdone and tough. Plus it all seemed very salty forcing everyone in our party to drink copious amounts of water during the night. The service was friendly but did not seem perturbed that we did had such a mixed experience.

Amazing family evening! 12 of us had a great time! Had a great time - great food and service, Thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant x
